Why Did Joe Lie?

Steve at Thoughts Online is asking why Joe Wilson lied. It is a really good question that I am pretty sure was asked a while back when the 9/11 report revealed that Wilson had been less than truthful, but I don’t hear much speculation about it now. I guess it just doesn’t play well to the Rove/Libbey frog marching beat. Check out the link for some possible reasons for the lie about who sent Wilson on his excellent adventure. Link via Lucianne.

Update: GayPatriotWest has a great post on the Plame matter and reminded me that the Senate Intelligence Committee report also showed Joe Wilson to have not told the truth.
