Tancredo on Border Control
To defend this country, we have to enforce our borders. When our borders are not secure, terrorists, drug dealers, and criminals find it easier to sneak into America. My proposal has a clear strategy for dealing with this problem: We want to stop people from crossing into America illegally, and to quickly return the illegal immigrants we catch back to their home countries.
Indeed.
Amen.
Oh, wait, “proposal” should be “administration” and “Tancredo” needs to be changed to “President Bush.”

There are a number of factoids in there about which angry conservatives and stir-the-pot leftists completely are unaware. Especially those who’ve been getting their “news” over the past several years from the Pravda-Media or from other Inside-the-Beltway sources of disinformation and reality denial.
