Dianne (“hedge fund”) Feinstein tried to raise taxes today on tens of millions of Americans.
Her proposal was to hike the maximum marginal income tax rate and to hike the tax rate on dividends and capital gains to their pre-May 2003 levels.
Here’s how your Senators actually voted:
39 = Democrats in favor of higher taxes (87%).
1 = Republican in favor of higher taxes (2%).
54 = Republicans against higher taxes (98%).
5 = Democrats against higher taxes (11%).
