Yesterday evening we looked at several deportation orders issued by the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Texas.
In this case, a panel of the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals denied a petition to avoid removal. A similar decision was made in this case. And in this case too:
Vargas’s family has lived safely in Bogota since 1999. This is strong evidence that Vargas will be able to relocate and avoid the FARC. This makes it impossible for Vargas to claim that he will more likely than not face persecution. Accordingly, we deny Vargas’s petition for withholding of removal.
Each of the above-referenced decisions — along with many, many others in which aliens were ordered removed from the country — were issued within the past several . . .
days.
