A rarely used treatment that pumps chemotherapy directly into the abdominal cavity can add 16 months or more to the lives of many women with advanced ovarian cancer, doctors report.
Hmm, perhaps Michael Moore will do a documentary about that?

The Florida Supreme Court struck down a voucher system that allowed some children to attend private schools at taxpayer expense…..
The State Supreme Court Justice who wrote that opinion, Barbara Pariente, was appointed to the Florida Supreme Court by former Democrat Governor, Lawton Chiles.
Two Justices dissented from that opinion, however, and would have ruled in favor of the school voucher program:
Bell – Jeb Bush.
Cantero – Jeb Bush.
Go figure.

Memo to George W. Bush:
If another SCOTUS vacancy opens up after Judge Alito takes his seat, and if you don’t want to go with a federal judge, e.g., Julia Smith Gibbons, Diane Sykes, Janice Rogers Brown, etc., then Justice Cantero would be a no-brainer-choice, Chief.
A no-brainer-choice.

On the one hand, I don’t understand why they didn’t try that cretin before a military tribunal and then, you know, shot him.
Then again, I’ve accepted the fact the Bush administration often is playing chess while others are playing rummy. So, I’m willing to cut the gummint some slack on that one.
