Patricia Johnson, 56, and her 42-year-old godson, Dwayne Johnson, are among approximately 12,000 families nationwide who were told to check out of their federally funded hotel rooms Monday after a federal judge said the Federal Emergency Management Agency could stop paying for their stays.
Oh, well, no good deed {by a Republican administration} can go unpunished {by the partisan-liberal Democrat media}.
Two more gems were buried in that puff piece:
[The Johnsons] discovered Catholic Charities of the East Bay, which gave them meals, guidance to a homeless shelter and ideas of other federal agencies and charities to call.
A private religious charity {gulp} helping people in need???
Go figure.
The drunks and drug dealers in the homeless shelter scared the Johnsons, and they refused to stay, they said.
Hold on a second.
You mean to tell me that many homeless people are in that sorry state because of their own pernicious vices???
No.
Nooo.
