Wiretapping on the Increase in Europe

Since the Sept. 11 attacks and the terrorist bombings that followed in Madrid and London, authorities across the continent are getting more powers to electronically eavesdrop, and meeting less apparent opposition than President Bush did over his post-9/11 wiretapping program.

Go figure.

Here’s a question for all the young liberal college students who read this blog:

Since your hero Michael Moore wants America to be “more like Europe,” and since the EUropeans are wiretapping their citizens like J. Edgar Hoover on steroids, you want Bush not only to keep his warrantless wiretapping program intact but to *expand* it, don’t you?
