Yesterdays Experiment On Liberals And Trolls

By Oak Leaf ~ July 7th, 2006 @ 9:49 am

When liberals say that they are “pro-choice” it is a plain out lie. Liberals do not believe in choice if it is against their values system.

Yesterday, I did a post on the new HPV Vaccine and the “push” to make the vaccine mandatory for school enrollment. I applaud the development of the vaccine but I also support the idea that the use of this vaccine is a “private decision” between a childs parent and their family doctor until the child is 18. After age 18, it is a private decision between patient and doctor. You know, that “right to privacy” we have heard about for 30 plus years.

I pointed out that a child that does not receive the HPV Vaccine, unlike the MMR Vaccine, is not a health risk to other children in a classroom.

Then I posted a very specific question that no liberal reader could/would answer, “Why should a child be denied enrollment in a government school if they do not get this vaccine?” They can not answer the question because there is no valid reason to tie government school enrollment with receiving the HPV Vaccine.

UPDATE: The experiment is still failing. I have yet to hear an explanation of the “link” as to why the HPV Vaccine should be mandatory for school enrollment. The liberal line seems to be we need to protect people from “bad things.” If that is the case, maybe we should require proof of immunizations before you renew your drivers license? That would make as much sense and it would rope in a larger population.
