This is exactly why they have a problem in this area, they are simply not credible.
“Democrats haven’t stated the obvious,” said Richard Devlin, a state senator from Oregon who argued that Democrats should point out that failing to provide education for children is immoral.
Oh that’s nice, yes let’s equate morality with the number of taxpayer dollars spent on education by the federal government at the same time as pushing for taxpayers to fund embryonic stem cell research. The DLC simply doesn’t “get it”, but at least they see the problems the outer rings of the party are causing them. I’ll have some details tomorrow about their ‘education’ spending plans, and be afraid, be very afraid.
