(Twilight Zone Alert) Cease Fire Proposal A ‘Positive Step’

Did she say this was a “positive step” with a straight face?

“the Lebanese plan calls for an immediate cease-fire as well as the release of Lebanese prisoners in Israeli jails and the return of two Israeli soldiers captured by Hezbollah.

Hezbollah has agreed to the cease-fire in principle but is objecting to the deployment of a “robust force” of international peacekeepers to patrol the Lebanese-Israeli border and act as a buffer zone

Hezbollah has not specifically agreed to disarm

The Washington Post, however, quotes U.S. officials as saying that the disarmament of Hezbollah is not a necessary pre-requisite for a ceasefire.”
