Dewey defeats Truman. Gore takes Florida. It all comes down to a few votes.

This time, you get to decide the outcome. I will post one of the following two posts on November 8. Your vote and your pre-election donations and campaigning efforts will decide which gets posted.

The pause that refreshes

We have purged ourselves of the cancerous, corrupt, and complacent institutional porkmongers that took over the Republican Party. We now have two years in the wilderness to rediscover our principles. Let us come back with a renewed sense of purpose, clarity of vision, and dedication to the principles of the founding fathers.

We squeaked one by

Let us not become complacent by our victory. It was due more to the incompetence of our opponents than the appeal of our message. Though we feel the rush of victory today, we know that our house is not in order, that we are not doing the people’s will, and that we have not promoted smaller government, personal liberty, or Constitutional principles.

The choice is still yours. Which will it be?
