No worker can get a job in an auto factory in Michigan unless they join a union (that was true until today). The union then takes money from the members paycheck and hands a large portion of that over to the democrat party. Sure sounds like a winning hand for the unions and democrats. Not so much for the members who disagree with what the unions are doing with the money. Sounds a lot like coercion to me No wonder the unions and dems are having meltdown fits.
The union shop was outlawed some time ago. They can’t make you a member but they could have made you pay union dues (agency shop) until this new law passed.
Now no one has to pay or belong to a union to work.

After thinking about all this I have questions. Did the workers of today actually vote to join the union or did they just become a union member when they were hired? Does a union ever have to re-certified? If not, why not?
