Agree. They will release the “real” numbers now. They will pivot and declare that the collapsing economy means we have to take even more extreme measures. If the Repubs don’t go along with it, then the collapse is their fault. LOL

It’s already out and yes it’s sharply up…

  3. E-Rock on December 6, 2012 at 3:39 pm

Eh, the media outlets will just paint the result as another “It could be worse” scenario.

    • E-Rock on December 6, 2012 at 3:44 pm

Or they’ll blame it on the hurricane.

  4. allie on December 6, 2012 at 4:31 pm

Too funny, you folks act like the GOP doesn’t cook the books.

It’s like the GOP gerrymandering to insure a majority in the House, the spoils go to the riches.

What is even more funny is that ALL of you are hoping that bad job numbers will come out tomorrow. You love your country, except when you don’t.

        You are too stupid.

        Read up on gerrymandering.

Obamanation members don’t and won’t care even if unemployment goes through the roof; they will always find some excuse, and even if you somehow break through all their logic, they will still argue that “things could’ve been worse without The One, y’know.”

Excellent article: Shows the true problem with the GOP = RINO’s .

Yet it was YOU paultards who elected 0bama. A fact you hide from.

Probably why you paultard fools never stop your stupid projecting.

      Fuckoff, paultard.

      • Rubio's RINO on December 8, 2012 at 8:11 am

“Yes it was YOU paultards who elected 0bama” — keep twisting those lies, Anonymous RINO-boy. Your incessant whining about Romney losing and blaming others for it, while amusing, doesnt seem to be helping your bitterness. Seek help, RINO-boy!

7.7 +140k -50k in revision, ministry of truth marches on.

    • Jim,MtnViewCA,USA on December 7, 2012 at 8:31 am

Rate fell, but only because people stopped looking.
Prev months’ gains were revised downwards.
The count of jobs gained was higher than expected though not enough to reduce the u/e rate once you account for drop-outs. Will be interested to see the in-depth analysis to find out what category the new jobs fit: Christmas jobs? 20-hour week jobs? Low end jobs? Green jobs? Gov’t jobs? High paying, high skilled engineering and manufacturing?

      • Knighthawk on December 7, 2012 at 5:46 pm

I know what a joke when we had -550k in the labor force.

        • Obama's Speech Coach on December 7, 2012 at 7:58 pm

          Real rate is 14.4…

The jobs report provoked a bout of ODS.

    • Obama's Speech Coach on December 7, 2012 at 8:00 pm

Meanwhile 22+ Million Americans are out of work. And Obama wants to raise taxes in order to make that number grow. Bet you’re proud of that record.

I know that they make a seasonal adjustment everymonth to the report concerning the unemployment rate. That is a standard feature of the report. I read that in 2011 the seasonal adjustment in November was upwards .05. That is why Gallop was projecting that seasonally adjusted unemployemt would be above 8 this report. Does anyone know where in the report you can find the adjustment? Cause it looks to me like there was no adjustment period.

It also looks to me like this year what they have been doing is that when the adjustment is usually downward they apply it in acordance with past practice. When the adjustment is upwards, normally, they either do not apply it or use some number not in acordance with historical practice. They did something like that in July.

Oh and trolls–I do not think it is ODS. The majority of folks on this site assume that the American Goverment lies rather routinly about everything. Don’t you? I’m pretty sure you usually do also. For example, I’d be willing to wager a fair amount that you believe the goverment lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Certianly, LBJ lied aboutpatrol boats attacking our navy in 1964 in the Gulf of Tonkin. I would be curious as to your take on the Warran Commission Report and the JFK assination. We simply assume that they lie also about economic data. Does not seem much of a stetch if willing to lie about weapons or assinations or attacks.

But if this data is true you have to agree that the president’s call for more stimulus spending is misplaced. What with all the data being so glorious and all.

Why does Obama want to eliminate the debt ceiling AND raise taxes?

  12. young conservative on December 11, 2012 at 9:37 am

to destroy everything and rebuild the world in his image, i guess. just like a comic book villain.
