And would highly recommend:
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous TV. See it in person at a brick-and-mortar store first; it’ll take your breath away.
A very sexy PC monitor to match the TV. It’s a beautiful IPS panel for the unheard-of price of $189.
A $10 mouse that’ll brighten up your desk. Works very well.
A 55″ LED will be cool to watch the coming inner-city riots.
We should place a bet on which city collapses first. Detroit? Chicago?
And which state? CA or IL?
I’m going with Detroit and CA.

So long as the middle class is still working, there will never be a cessation of
“entitlements”,plus the ability to inflate will assure that “gubmint money” will always be there. (It may be worthless money, but it will still be paid out to the drones)
That tv would be nice in any Galt Bunker.
The best part is that the Galt-smart shoppers will buy online and pay ZERO taxes.
Screw the government and their leftist entitlement bullshit. Defund all of it.
I’m still waiting for Obama to pay my mortgage…
I’ve got a 46 inch version of that TV, and it is very nice. I decided to leave the top of my entertainment center instead of removing it and going with just the base, and so the 46″ was the biggest that would fit. Sometimes I wish I’d have gone for the 60″ and removed the top.
Hey there’s always next year. (Oh wait, Ogabe got elected, so maybe not…)
My PC screens blow that one away, sorry.
Mouse? Who cares.
Anyway, the TV actually IS gorgeous.
You’re obviously a person of taste and distinction! BTW, if you haven’t already: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-19410_102-562857/lg-55lm6700-picture-settings/
I have a nice vhs collection of rare documentaries and stuff. Flat screen doesn’t respond well to vhs. Miss my big ol’ RCA crt tv
yeah vhs can be converted to dvd, though at lower quality. In reality, if you watch the vhs on an old TV, then on a flattie, there’s not much difference.
The old TVs were really that bad…
