Boehner owns this

November 9, 2012

Who is the one man most responsible for Barack Obama’s re-election and a likely permanent socialist majority?

John Boehner.

At every opportunity: the debt ceiling, the budget continuing resolution, every spending negotiation, Boehner abdicated his responsibility and let Obama keep spending at will.

Instead of insisting on responsible spending bills, Boehner let Obama run 8%-10% GDP deficits for four years running. He let Obama steal our children’s future to create a sugar high and make the economy feel better, at least past re-election.

George W. Bush paved the way for Obama with irresponsible spending and reckless foreign wars. John Boehner just gave Obama a second term which he will use to entrench even more deeply the permanent dependent underclass… and a lot of the middle class will find themselves sliding down into that underclass.

When they write the epitaph for liberty and prosperity in America, George W. Bush and John Boehner will feature prominently.

So was justice Roberts. I think there is shared responsibility here. Roberts’ calculated vote back-fired. We are all going to suffer.

    Don’t forget Chris Christie!

    • Tim on November 9, 2012 at 12:04 pm

Christie hurt us and that should never be forgiven. but I think that the recovery from the hurricane will go badly enough now that christie’s goose is cooked any way. after all obama did a great job–so it has to be somebody’s fault. I say blame Christie.

I also agree that roberts screwed us badly. Although i think calculated is to kind of a word. He was a craven coward who sold out because he could not handle what the left would say if he voted to strike down Obama care. The mistake conservatives made is that half of us seem to have forgiven him and/or think he was playing some type of chess game where he sacrificed a rook for some long term plan.

Nope on every issue going forward he is going to disappoint us–except when one of the other conservatives sides with the liberals–than he will cast that dissenting vote. But any time it is 4-4–and his vote decides it–he will vote with the liberals. Actually the only way to bring him back is to make it clear that what ever love he gets from tyhe left will be matched by an even more outpuring of loathing and contempt from the right.

IMO it’s because Obama is like a CULT LEADER and too many of his supporters absolutely worship him. Remember Jamestown Guyana. Mothers gave their babies and children poison-laced kool aid and then drank it themselves. Too many of Obama’s supporters would do the same thing if he told them to. How to counteract this kind of worship? I don’t really know. Like a pyramid scheme, it may have to collapse on itself when the producers are so outnumbered it cannot continue, or the producers just stop producing.

Personally I don’t think the Republicans have anyone that can articulate our position. They just sit there and say that letting tax cuts for the rich expire is bad but don’t really make their point. Hey guys, get out some facts and figures to back things up so that we don’t continually look like we are shafting the middle class!!!!!!

On the other hand I have reached the point where maybe we should just let the cuts expire and do what the Democrats want and then when it goes further into recession they own it lock, stock and barrel. There really is only one way to get the point across to idiots. The Dems and the nation gets the point and we can proudly say it was their idea.

    • darwin on November 9, 2012 at 10:09 am

No Republican could win with this media. The answer is definitely to get out of the way and let the Democrat party destroy itself. Boehner and Mcconnell need to let the Democrats have anything they want for the next two years. That would kill the liberal movement in this country. Just like America the Democrat party can only be destroyed from within.

Bring it all down. We’ve been saying for years, get ready or be a victim.

    Save your sniveling lecturing WVC.

I personally know over a dozen hard core paulbots like you and guess what?

So look in the mirror paulbots, because YOU are just as much to blame for Obama than anyone.

Stop projecting like a libturd and take responsibility for what you paulbot cult freaks did.

My new motto: Let it Burn !

Seriously… Medicare/Medicaid , Social Security, Obamacare… all of it. Unsustainable but the law of the land and completely entrenched. So let it all collapse.

The Middle East can burn and all of the Oil-ticks can starve in their godforsaken desert.

Israel will be fine. They don’t need out money or our weapons. Obama was a hater and the New York and Florida Jewish population STILL went for him. Oh well.

Let China attack Taiwan , it will keep them occupied for years and years to come so they will be hard pressed to maintain the rest of their global mischief.

Pull out of Afghanistan. They do not deserve one more penny or one more drop of our blood. I would waste a good piss on them.

Pakistan can rot. I would encourage a nuclear war between India and Pakistan. It would keep them bottled up as well ( as well as out “friends” Russia and China). The whole of Asia could fall into the sea and I would not weep a single tear.

I have my ticket to Gaults Gulch. Do you ?

The temptation is to be the first one to post with an “answer” to everything that went wrong. Instead, I think we all need to take a breath. There are a lot of ways to skin a cat (and a lot of cats that need skinned). Let’s take a moment to figure out the best way to change America into the country we want. Only some of that will be getting back to winning elections. Right now, I am so pissed off that my greatest desire is to shout to every mf’er who can hear my voice that I want them to sink into the feces that has spewed from mouths of their dear leaders.

My temptation is that we need to increase the number of people who would consider (if they agreed) voting for us. I think the country is full of people, who largely for racial and ethnic reasons, would never vote for a Republican. That is a problem. If you are a party of ideas running against a party of people, you are more likely to be right than be elected.

Fortunately, I do not think it is possible to hold together permanently a coalition of people who will walk six days through the desert to work for $7 an hour (if they work very hard) and people who will gladly live in their mom’s basement as long as they can get cable TV, cell phones, and weed. My big disagreement with supporters of Ron Paul is that they seem to think that the world is full of bright eyed entrepreneurs who hate us because we don’t smoke the ganja.

We need, I think, to decide whether we want to be a prosperous Central American country or a bankrupt European one.

Still, don’t listen to me. I’m too angry to deal with the giant issues of what the F has happened to my country.

You want to know who is truly responsible for the Obama victory, conservatives?
With a single exception, you had before you a truly abysmal set of candidates for the Republican primary. Gingrich — too sleazy, Perry — too dumb, Bachmann & Santorum — too batshit crazy (& batshit crazy doesn’t work out well, ask Mourdock, Akin, O’Donnell, Angle, etc.), Paul — too bizarre, Cain — too simplistic, and, most importantly, Romney — TOO INSINCERE, TOO DECEITFUL, TOO SELFISH, & TOO ARROGANT. The exception: Jon Huntsman. Honest, sincere, & very intelligent. But you couldn’t go for him because there was a chance he might want to do something about global warming, & YOU’RE TOO SELFISH to give a damn about future generations. So, who’s going to be making the next Supreme Court appointments?

    • Setnaffa on November 10, 2012 at 3:36 pm

Huntsman was just a Mormon Obama.

  9. Tim on November 9, 2012 at 11:54 am

JB may or may not have done a good job. But how about a post that deals with facts. The first two years of the Obama regime–JB was the minority leader of the House (if that). How was he supposed to stop Obama from spending what ever he wanted? The post said the last 4 years.

Now the last two he was speaker? the deficit was not 9 or 10 percent –that was a first year issue with obama. Since then it has been around 8–to high I grant you–but don’t say 8 to 10 percent.

The Republican House passed budgets–he can’t force the Senate to vote on it or even pass one on its own. you think the Republican budget was to high–great. Ron Paul can put one together and let us see how many votes he gets.

So he could have held the line and forced a goverment shutdown and/or an American debt default in 2010. Best case scenerio the economy would have tanked and the Republicans would have gotten the blame and last Tuesday would have been even a bigger wipeout.

Look he bet on the intelligance of the American people. He thought when presented with a choice they would reject Obama and chose a sane path. They did not. Now maybe it was our messanger. Or maybe it was the media–or maybe (and this is from my perspective)we got screwed by a hurricane. No hurricane and I think everybody reading poli–or most everybody would be happy. If the hurricane had happened two weeks earlier–and Christie could have avoided his groveling ass licking act–we definitly would be happy.

  10. Chairman Mow on November 9, 2012 at 12:41 pm

    My dearest Herman……

John Huntsman ? Honest sincere and intelligent ?

You have to be shitting me. He freaking LIES about speaking Mandarin. He has poorly memorized some phrases. But speak it ? Nope.

He was Obamas butt buddy, that’s why you love him. He would have lost by EPIC numbers.

Go back to your corner and enjoy your pudding cup.

Hrmmm… I had an idea just now, and I DON’T know if it’s workable or acceptable. Just tossing it out there.

Agree to a tax hike for those making over 250,000k, but NOT quite the way the D’s want it. Exclude small businesses. Make the tax hike apply not on the rates, but by taking away the tax-exempt status of municipal bonds and closing the tax loopholes of some industries – such as the entertainment industry, which gets massive tax breaks.

This would really hit the dreaded 1%… the largely Democrat part of the 1%. The tax hike on muni bonds would drive money away from them, thus helping to starve the beast.

Pitch it as giving the D’s what they want: the tax hike on the rich. But make it a Trojan horse – one they’d have a hell of a time saying no to.

    Just a thought.

You know, just fuck it all.
We, as a nation, have chosen to be mediocre, second rate, destined for the dustbin of history. We could have been something special. We could have been great; but we chose the path well traveled toward socialism, mediocrity, debt, stagnation, and annihilation. It is not a particularly good outcome.
I would recommend that if you want a future, you start making it for yourself, not your nation. Choose to go for a life with integrity.
Our nation is now doomed. But out of the rubble of this once great country, we may yet make a difference on mankind’s future; but only if you survive.
    Good luck to you all.
