    Poli:

Certainly, certain states fit that description. Now Ohio has fallen into that category with Florida not far behind.

On the plus side, we probably don’t have that much time left before the fiscal bomb explodes, so it may be a moot point.

Time to stop, lick our wounds, remember what is important, get on with our lives.
The specifics in this article are not important, the attitude is.

It is the ultimate outcome when a people can vote themselves money from the public treasury.

As much as I oppose/d Obamacare, I did a back of the envelope calculation the other day, and when it takes full effect, it will be a net transfer to my balance sheet of almost $100,000 if I live long enough to qualify for Medicare (which will be another net positive transfer to me), and that is in premium support alone. Due to my chosen lifestyle, I will pay zero payroll taxes the rest of my life, and will likely have a zero income tax burden every year until I start collecting social security. I am not unique in this regard. I feel terrible for the people who have to work and pay taxes.

    ….

Economic ruin is coming. And rather quickly.

    That is pure fantasy.

The system is on a path to insolvency. If you are incapable of caring and providing for yourself, you will become a victim.

I can certainly provide for myself- it is why I am retired, but Obama is going to pay for my health insurance in my years before I am 65. That is not a fantasy- that is reality. It may be that the program collapses before then, but while it is in force, I am going to take advantage of it.

Won’t be able to become California because there’s no one to bail us out. Make no mistake, Obama will bail out all of the blue states at the expense of the red states!
