According to Gallup and Rasmussen. I buy that. This year, the electorate’s makeup will go from 2008’s D+7 to somewhere between D+1 and R+1

Hope your right. Must say I am disappointed with that Gallup number since–before they suspended polling–they had Mitt up by 5. I have to say, if you have been for Obama all along, I disagree with you on the facts and the policy but I can understand the logic–you disagree with me about the facts and the policy.

But really the only thing that has happened heres is a hurricane.

You switch your vote cause you think what–he looks good in a bomber jacket? Or that we was presidential because he was geting updates on –essentially–the weather? Or becasue some fat guy hugged him? My God I weep for our democracy. It is one reason why I don’t encourage people to vote unless I am absolutly sure how they are going to vote. Frankly there is a bar I like to stop at after work sometimes–lot of young people in there. No way in hell are they going to vote for Mitt. So, I have spent time trying to convince them not to vote and/or to vote libertarian (because it is funny when you listen to this crowd–there is a libertarian cast to what they are saying–in particular on social issues).

Maybe the corrupt Obama/Holder faux “justice” department threatened Gallup with another lawsuit.

It sure would explain a lot.

      “I weep for our democracy”

PS: We live in a Republic, not a democracy.

A Republic is a form of democracy. Unless he was saying he “weeps for our PURE Democracy”.

Unfortunately O picked up a point or two in the last 5 days. After normalizing all the recent polls for a neutral turnout (even D and R) I have it Romney 49.8%, Obama 47.9% with Romney picking up between 275 and 301 EV’s. Its gonna be close and come done to a few crucial states. I will say that despite the MSM predicting an Obama win, after looking at the stats I would still rather be in Romney’s shoes right now. All he needs is one of OH, PA, WI, MI and he’s in. Obviously there are a number of combinations of the lesser states that could do it as well. I do think that some of these states could be close enough for fraud to have a material impact.

“All he needs is one of OH, PA, WI, MI and he’s in.”

Romney’s INTERNAL POLLS show that Romney is leading in Ohio and tied in PA and WI.

Look at the internals of the Gallup poll. They have Independents going to Obama 46-45. Does anyone believe that?
