November 2, 2012

UPDATE: Apparently, this is the same poll from a couple of weeks ago. Newer poll to be out soon.

Credible? We report, you decide. Although Susquehanna does have a good track record…

Huh?? That’s one hell of a shift! It’d fit with the buzz we’re hearing from there, too.

If it’s true… Wow! Awesome news. If Romney gets Pa’s 20 Ev’s, it makes Ohio’s 18 less critical. However… I really don’t see Romney picking up PA and losing Ohio, so this would mean he’d probably get both, and that opens up a lot more paths to 270.

Thank you for cheering up my evening!

If Romney win PA, the election is over and Romney wins.

Yes – if PA goes Romney, it will be a landslide…

Highly suspect – Are they counting on half of Philadelphia not bothering to vote?

    • Goonions on November 3, 2012 at 1:34 am

Yeah, the half already in the grave! Kind of hard to believe but would be nice if this poll is accurate.

No. Phily had record turnout surplus in 2008 for Obama. His supporters are somewhat less enthusiatic, the Republicans are more enthusiastic, the Philly ring suburb counties are going even or slightly for Romney where they went heavily for Obama four years ago and Romney is beating the tar out of Obama of his coal-killing policies in coal country.

It might not be enough, but it’s going to be very close at the very least in PA, much, much closer than the 10% McCain lost by. I don’t see Obama carrying PA by more than 2%, and Romney might just win it outright.

Cautiously optimistic. Surely enough people have seen thru this fake. Or are they stupid or willfully ignorant?

Barone’s calling the national vote for Romney “handily”. When Barone calls it, you can take it to the bank!

It’s Coal, Catholics and the Un-Affordable Care Act whupping up on Obama.

Jay Cost explains how Romney wins PA.

Well,if he wins PA(our great white whale)then Romney will be elected. I just always think Philly will find enough voters to elect Obama(even if they are dead).
On the other hand,Virginia,North Carolina and Indiana went Republican for the first time in ages 4 years ago,so Pa going red would not be out of the question.

According to Twitchy, that’s the old Susquehanna poll.

Jim Lee, the head of Susquehanna polling:

“This poll is three weeks old, Jeryl. Not sure why this poll is still being circulated as “new”. Tomorrow the Pittsburgh tribune review will release a new poll they commmissioned us to do “post hurricane sandy”. It shows a tighter race. Jim”

A new Susquehanna poll has Tom Smith down by one against Casey 45-46. With nine undecideds it looks pretty good!
