Was an AC-130 gunship available to intervene?

October 26, 2012

So if this story proves true we know why the administration has been stonewalling on Libya.

Via the PJ Tatler from fox news:

The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

    It is likely true.

That makes Libya a leadership failure and not an “intelligence” failure.

Everything the Obamanation touches turns into a failure.

It wouldn’t surprise us if an Al Qaeda sniper were to take out Big Bird!

Obama doesn’t mind killing innocent Pakistani civilians; but he’s afraid of killing al Qaeda in case they stop voting for him…

AND, it is a win/win if Americans dies, esp American military.
Anything to keep their lips on the tax spigot.

Bill O’Reilly at Fox has been pretty vocal about the lack of transparency. This new information may raise the heat. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear demands for the President to resign.

    Major bomb shell if true;

Breaking news on Benghazi: the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”

You know if we had a system where professionals were trained to let the populace know about important events. And could convey that information to the public….. we could call them Chronolcers, or journalers or even journalists. Wouldn’t that be cool?

    • Arizona CJ on October 27, 2012 at 12:54 am

      Well said.

What we currently call “journalists” aren’t. In the main, they are more properly called “ostriches” when it’s a democrat who is the perp.

As for the AC135; that would have been an ideal weapon to use. But, if they were lasing the targets, that means they must have at least thought the AC135 was in the area. They would not have done that unless they thought it was there. They sure as hell wouldn’t have done it if it was even just 15 minutes flying time away, because there’s no point.

So what we have here is a strong indicator that an AC135 was overhead. That’s far, far worse even than one sitting on the ground in Sicily, because someone had to have told it not to engage.

If a Republican was doing this he would be out on his head. Eric Lichtblau at the NYT and his other leak specialist would be plastering it all over the entire front page.

“the election has nothing to do with four brave Americans getting killed”

I think he will be proven wrong

His official spokesman, about a week ago, blamed this whole mess on Romney, saying it was only an issue because of Romney.

They’ll probably try to blame Romney (or maybe Bush) for ordering the CIA and the AC135 to stand down while the consulate and the CIA station were under attack. (makes as much sense as the other BS they are spewing).

  8. DAO (Doctor Against Obama) on October 27, 2012 at 7:03 am

This is the suppressed video from CBS that shows Obama stating he knew it was a terrorist attack while he and the administration were still blaming the video

General Ham commander of Africa Command was relieved of duty by Sec Def Panetta, supposedly for disobeying orders to try and save Ambassador Stevens.

Make of this what you will —
