Confirmed: Young people are morons

June 19, 2012
By

This sort of cluelessness might explain why they voted for Obama:

In April, on the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster, the social news-sharing site Reddit pointed to a series of tweets from people who did not know that the sinking of the Titanic was real—and not just a 1997 Hollywood blockbuster starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

“Wait!” user Sue D. wrote. “Titanic really happened? I thought it was just a movie.”

“Guys, the Titanic was real!” @BabyDoe22 wrote. “#mindblown.”

Just more of Obama’s sheep showing how little they know – and further proof that the minimum legal voting age in the U.S. should be 25yrs except in the case of military service.

Wow, these liberal kiddies are dumb.

“Wow, these liberal kiddies are dumb.”

Yeah, Biznut tends to prove this fact in most threads.

      Plenty of evidence below:

  2. Bizman on June 19, 2012 at 9:56 am

    But you are dumber.

You have no idea whether the Historically ignorant “young people” on reddit voted for Obama or not.

In fact, there is strong data correlating educational levels, intelligence and political views….Liberals are the smartest, best educated group.

In other words, it is just as likely that the “morons” who didn’t know about the real Titanic were Republicans.

Furthermore, morons are your constituency, so I wouldn’t go to far in slamming them for their political choices….

Your source is wikipedia? A site known to be edited and slanted liberal (esp. where politics is concerned)?? LOL!

Wow, it’s amazing you thought that you could pass that crap off as legit.

Then again, you’re obviously not very bright.

You might want to read down a bit further in the thread or go to some of the primary source links provided by Wikipedia, Edward, before making yourself look like every other fool around here.

Of course, reality has a Liberal bias as they say, so of course feel free to ignorantly dismiss any info that doesn’t fit in to your warped sociopathic world view.

Bizman – I’m a human not a demographic, but I’ll put my education, IQ, and economic status up against yours any day of the week. And yes, Wikipedia is what liberals started citing once their subscriptions to Omni lapsed. Believing what you read on the internet is right up there with consulting with Madame Zelda from the Psychic Medium Network…”I see great disappointment in your future…and also that you are a self-important toss-pot.”

          • Bizman on June 20, 2012 at 12:44 pm

Now we’re railing against Wikipedia…any source that has the temerity to cite facts that contradict Wingnut lies must, by definition, be corrupted. Just like science, an enterprise that has brought civilization to its current heights but is now under attack from Republicans for the same apparent reasons.

Wikipedia is not a citation in and of itself but rather a collection of citations. If you have a bone to pick with an entry, have at it. I’ve read many things on Wikipedia that are in my areas of training and expertise and found them to be dead on.

Of course, feel free to back up your claims if you can, although that might be a little difficult since you seem to have excluded anything you can read on the “internet”….LOL.

You can put your “education, IQ and economic status” against anyone you like Gunga, but that won’t change the fact that you’ve already displayed enough close-minded ignorance in one post to show that these things don’t guarantee good judgement or rational thought.

Blacks are always complaining about how the educational system shortchanges them and their children, and, in fact, blacks as an ethnic group, are measureably less educated than whites of Asians.

They voted for Obama 95 to 5.

      See how easy this is?

No, really, that’s not internet hyperbole.
You’re an idiot. You can’t understand that the increase in spending due to the stimulus is still in the federal budget, year after year after year.

            Idiot.

          • Bizman on June 20, 2012 at 7:21 am

Of course I can’t understand it, Evan, because you believe in a lie, a fantasy concocted to support the false conjecture that Obama has been on a “spending binge”. ARRA funding was ONE TIME, and it’s mostly OVER.

You cannot, and have not, provided a single shred of evidence to the contrary, while I and others have to support this. Instead, you keep talking about some “baseline budgeting” fairy that is supposed to prove your belief as if by magic.

And Bush has cost America FAR MORE than Obama.

            Period.

      • Bizman on June 19, 2012 at 10:48 am

You forgot to include the contrary fact that Asians also voted overwhelmingly for Obama in 2008 and will certainly do so again in 2012.

And they’re the “most educated” ethnic group.

        LOL.

        • Evan3457 on June 19, 2012 at 12:32 pm

Oh, contraire, Pierre; from the Asian Journal website:

“Because of the difficulty of Gallup and other national pollsters in determining Asian American presidential preferences, the NAAC conducted an in-person survey (rather than a phone poll) that was geared to a Pan- Asian audience attending the Asian Cultural Festival in San Diego. The attendees were from Southern California.

The survey showed that Asian Americans, who were registered voters, preferred Romney by 56% to 44%. In contrast, in the latest New York Times/CBS poll, 46% preferred Romney and 43% President Obama.

Looks like you were right about one thing: the Asians are the best educated, and they apparently learn faster than other racial groups.

          • Evan3457 on June 19, 2012 at 12:33 pm

            Oh…ROTFLMAO.

This is shaping up to be the same kind of spurious debating tactics you engaged in about the laughable “baseline budgeting”….in other words, crap links to irrelevant topics in a desperate effort to prove that your bias has some basis in fact.

Firstly: A survey is not a poll.
Secondly: Here are the people who they talked to:

“…the NAAC conducted an in-person survey (rather than a phone poll) that was geared to a Pan-Asian audience attending the Asian Cultural Festival in San Diego. The attendees were from Southern California. ”

            Now some actual data:

            LOL.

        • Evan3457 on June 20, 2012 at 11:32 am

Misread the article in the Asian Journal. It was comparing the results for an overall CBS NY Times poll of registered voters to the survey done at the cultural show.

You were right about the Gallup poll.

However, you’re still an idiot as concerns baseline budgeting. That remains unchanged.

          • Bizman on June 20, 2012 at 12:52 pm

“However, you’re still an idiot as concerns baseline budgeting. That remains unchanged.”

Of course, because whether I’m an “idiot” or not on the subject is purely a matter of your own subjective opinion.

Nevertheless, I am CORRECT on ARRA funds and “baseline budgeting”….and have proven it. In contrast, you have failed to provide a single shred of evidence supporting your claim, which seems to be that the stimulus funds are annually recurring and thus inflate the amount of overall spending that Obama has made (because you want to believe he’s spent more than Bush or any president in history or whatever on discretionary programs).

          • Evan3457 on June 20, 2012 at 4:06 pm

NO, you’re wrong. ARRA has disappeared but the money is still in the federal budget, and always will be, unless some Congress in the future takes action to remove it.

The proof is the actual total of federal expenditures, which should have decreased by hundreds of billions a year when ARRA “expired”, but hasn’t.

Why has federal spending NOT decreased by hundreds of billions a year? Because baseline budgeting means each department and agency starts the new year’s budget with the same amount as it spent the year before, plus token increases for inflation (which the federal agencies involved claim has been low) and population growth (which can’t be more than about 5% over the 3+ years of the Obama administration).

It’s not my opinion. It’s the annual total of federal spending, which has not gone down by hundreds of billions a year once ARRA lasped.

How do you account for the failure of federal spending to decrease?
Don’t bother; you can’t, unless you admit that baseline budgeting is real. You accept Wikipedia as a source when arguing against Edward, but not when I cite it against you.

And that’s why…you’re an idiot. No, really. You’re an idiot.

          • Bizman on June 21, 2012 at 8:03 am

“ARRA has disappeared but the money is still in the federal budget, and always will be, unless some Congress in the future takes action to remove it.”

No it’s not. It’s SPENT. GONE. It is now an EX-STIMULUS. The stimulus is no more.

“The proof is the actual total of federal expenditures, which should have decreased by hundreds of billions a year when ARRA “expired”, but hasn’t.”

Something that isn’t true can’t be proof.

“How do you account for the failure of federal spending to decrease?”

Oh, one of THOSE arguments. Sure, I get it. How can one explain the beauty of a flower? A flagellum’s complexity? No good explanation….ok, then it must be GOD.

There are a thousand (or more) possible explanations to why the budget numbers may not directly reflect an exact drop in the amount equal to ARRA funding winding down. Like, oh, spending may have gone up in other categories??? Geez, hard to imagine that happening.

I’ve provided MULTIPLE links to references stating quite clearly that “ARRA funding is ending” or “winding down”, etc. Even the original language of the act is proof of this. It was a ONE TIME allocation of funds, listed quite clearly category by category.

In addition, not that this is proof of anything as it is anecdotal, but I personally know of beneficiaries to ARRA funding, and the money is gone.

LOL, pathetic. Provide proof or STFU already.

U.S. employers post FEWEST JOB openings in 5 months

Jun 19, 11:59 AM (ET)- CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER

WASHINGTON (AP) – Employers in April posted the fewest job openings in five months, suggesting hiring will remain sluggish in the months ahead.

The Labor Department said Tuesday that job openings fell to a seasonally adjusted 3.4 million in April, down from 3.7 million in March. The March figure was the highest in nearly four years.

The decline could mean employers are growing more cautious about adding workers in the face of financial turmoil in Europe and slower growth in the United States. Job openings can take one to three months to fill.

There were 12.5 million unemployed people in April. That means there was an average of 3.7 people competing for each open job. In a healthy job market, the ratio is usually around 2 to 1.

    • Jokeleaf on June 19, 2012 at 10:15 am

Still shockingly high levels for all groups but I think the correlation is fairly obvious: if you are Republican, you are more likely to be ignorant.

It is well established that stupid idiots vote for the Left, troll.

The dumb, illiterate high school dropouts overwhelmingly vote for the Left.

In fact, when you pull out “higher educated” government employees, academics, teachers, public employee labor unions and lawyers from the voter pool, the rest of the educated folks overwhelmingly reject the Left. You lefty troughers like you some big government, as we know. It pays you well. Those of us who don’t depend on government handouts don’t have to vote ourselves a job, so we don’t vote Left.

Here’s the 2008 presidential exit poll, troll. It’s the best the Left has done in some time, I’d expect, but I’ll give you that as a bonus. And even here, the illiterate morons go 2 to 1 for the Left.

    http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#USP00p1

But checking the shellacking of 2010, you’ll find it even more overwhelming how only the illiterate morons voted Left, along with their public union, academic and lawyerly brethren, while intelligent folks refused to vote for the Left:

“I’m just curious as to how you feel about voting alongside all the mental retards?”

It’s usually hard to tell who is a Republican when I go to vote, so I suppose I can’t really answer this question honestly.

          • anonymous un-RINO on June 20, 2012 at 3:27 pm

Yeah, but if they’re mentally retarded, and at the polls, it’s overwhelmingly the case that they’re of the Left like you, as the data tells us.

Seriously, how does it feel to vote the same as mental retards, troll? ;-)

People, you can either allow the blog to be destroyed by posters like this or you can ignore them and refuse to engage, in which case they will disappear.

Biznutz~~The poli board dog pecker gnat.

  11. Edward on June 19, 2012 at 2:38 pm

Oh yeah, here’s more evidence of the “highly educated” liberals RIGHT HERE

    NOT!

How many times have the plans of liberals BACKFIRED into their silly confused faces?

Faux war on women? – FAIL.
    Race pimping Trayvon? – FAIL.
    Leaking classified data? – FAIL.
Blaming others for Obama’s failed economy? – TRIPLE FAIL.

Yeah, if you’re a Biznut-liberal and you think your last name should be “Clever”.
…Maybe you should realize that your first name is “NOTSO”

    Backfire Much?? LMAO!!!!!!!

    Idiots.

  12. MikeN on June 19, 2012 at 2:42 pm

Just like rich people can be socialist, educated people can vote for dumb things too.

    • Edward on June 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm

Yeah, it’s like many of the so-called “engineers” from India. Many have amazing “book smarts” and even continue their education to Masters or PhD levels – but most of them also have the common sense of a door knob.

Vast amounts of knowledge is a poor substitute for wisdom, experience and basic common-sense.

Most (if not all) of these elitist liberals are too smart for their own good – notice how all of their grandiose plans have FAILED since Obama got in (and had FULL CONTROL of both houses)??

Notice how all of their pomp and pretentious political strategies have BACKFIRED right into their perplexed faces? They just cannot understand why EVERYTHING they touch fails.

Then again, liberals live in a fantasy world, where they’re immunized against actual reality.

    • anonymous un-RINO on June 19, 2012 at 3:03 pm

True enough, but ignorant, uneducated people vote for the Left overwhelmingly, in contradiction to what the idiot troll stated earlier.

By 2 to 1, the moron vote goes Left.

      • Edward on June 19, 2012 at 3:08 pm

The left is comprised of the “dumb as a stump” elitists from one end
…and the easily misled, illiterate welfare-sheep from the other end

It’s really no wonder why EVERYTHING they touch fails.

        • Bizman on June 20, 2012 at 11:15 am

Yeah, just like Sweden. Huge failure of a country. In fact all of Scandanavia…they’re just miserable people who prove that Liberalism and Socialism destroy society.

          Not.

          • anonymous un-RINO on June 20, 2012 at 11:32 am

            You should move there, troll.

Maybe some of your fellow mentally retarded lefty voters want to go with you. ;-)

  13. anonymous un-RINO on June 19, 2012 at 3:12 pm

I’m just curious as to what that troll thinks about it all, considering that mental retards vote like he does. ;-)

  14. ronald reagan on June 19, 2012 at 3:55 pm

the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.

  15. MikeN on June 19, 2012 at 4:19 pm

Liberals went into court and argues that their voters were too dumb to fill out a ballot properly.

    • Aaron on June 20, 2012 at 2:13 pm

      LMAO!!!!!!!

Yeah, one of the few examples where liberals were actually telling the truth!

  16. JimR on June 20, 2012 at 6:00 am

This is exactly why Hollywood should not make a movie about Abraham Lincoln as a vapire slayer (which is coming in case you hadn’t heard).

  17. MikeN on June 20, 2012 at 2:41 pm

Polipundit is also a young person who thought Romney was against amnesty.
