Obama’s secret second-term agenda

June 11, 2012
By

As reported by the New Yorker:

The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change, one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now. He also is concerned with containing nuclear proliferation. In April, 2009, in one of the most notable speeches of his Presidency, he said, in Prague, “I state clearly and with conviction America’s commitment to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons.” He conceded that the goal might not be achieved in his lifetime but promised to take “concrete steps,” including a new treaty with Russia to reduce nuclear weapons and ratification of the 1996 Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty.

[…]

Obama’s advisers say it is more likely that the President would champion an issue with greater bipartisan support, such as immigration reform. Obama has also said that he hopes to have the time and the attention to address a more robust aid agenda for developing countries than he was able to muster in his first term.

Let me translate that agenda from liberalese:

  • Cripple the US economy with massive regulatory burdens to combat “climate change”
  • Cave to Russia, like Obama promised Medvedev
  • Submerge American culture under a tide of millions of poor, low-skilled, under-educated, Third-World immigrants
  • Borrow more money from China to throw at basket-case countries all over the world

If that sounds good to you, all you have to do is… nothing! Sit on your hands, and Obama will be re-elected, free to enact his real extremist agenda. Think Obamacare is bad? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

Or Obama could propose them during the campaign, and Romney will say he agrees, just as he did with student loans.

Dems complain about R president and Republicans complain about D president on the same issue depending on who is in charge.

Party Followers Change Answer based on who is President

Actually, it’s more like just the Rs who are complaining, while Ds complain all the time. A change from 68 to 60 isn’t that big a deal, and was probably cherry picked to get the result they want.

    This is a surprise, why?

    Romney’s agenda,
get annoyed at conservatives who call for lower spending, sell them out to get a big spending budget approved by Democrats and Republicans.
    War with Iran
    Amnesty
    War with Syria
    Get tough on the Chinese
War with Venezuela put on hold to deal with other military needs
Get tough with Russia, perhaps even war on behalf of Georgia
    More money for Export-Import bank
    Global Warming

I think you left out a bit of Willard’s agenda.

He’s gotta finish ramming ObomneyCare up the country’s ass, Taxachusetts style, including the $50 taxpayer funded abortions under full Planned Parenthood supervision.

He’s gotta bailout the IMF, so they can bail out the Euros, so the Euros can bail out Willard’s Goldman Sachs buddies.

He’s gotta fight on gloriously in Afghanistan forever.

Poli, it’d probably be more efficient if you just linked to both Willard’s and Obambi’s websites in parallel. They both advocate and work for the same things, so that’d help us all out a bit, and keep it simple. And I’m sure both websites make it clear which letter of the alphabet the 2 have after their names, so you RINOs are covered on your most important issue.

Spoken like a true Obama supporter.

Good to know you’re in the tank for Obama.

It makes your moby rants so much easier to dismiss.

The reality is apparently that a liberal doesn’t change his views at all and the conservative isn’t conservative in the first place but learns that she should be even more liberal.

OK, that’s not about Romney, but Megan McCain.

I left out his pre-election agenda.

Support Orrin Hatch in his primary.
Support David Dewhurst over Ted Cruz, though he will pause because endorsing Cruz gives him a chance at pandering to Hispanics.
Support Connie Mack in his primary. Oh wait, he’s already done that.

      Wait… I have another one for Willard’s pre-election agenda. ;-)

In Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, support the write-in candidacy of a generic RINO pile of dogshit, rather than the conservative patriot who is the only R candidate on the primary ballot. The RINO establishment here is supporting the RINO pile of dogshit, and they’re all bought off by Willard, who will of course follow RINO suit.

It’s amazing how stupid Willard is, all RINO blather notwithstanding. Despite all his stupidity here in Michigan, and all his alienation of conservatives and the Tea Party people, if he came out right now and supported that Bentivolio guy in Michigan 11, the conservatives and Tea Party would give him great favor. I mean, that one move might drastically change his fortunes, if he came out and gave a full throated support for that guy, rather than the RINO dogshit.

Willard’s too stupid to understand all this, unfortunately. He’s gearing up to lose Michigan worse than McLiar, and that’s saying something.

glad to see you’re fully in the tank for Obama.

It makes your blathering much easier to ignore.

Oh, one thing’s for certain… you won’t be ignoring anything I post.

    Dance, butthurt RINO sockpuppet. ;-)

In fact, it also advisable that you simply find
out if you’re dealing with a trained and licensed agent because you’d most certainly not want
to tazke chances. You have tto appear iin court in person or by mail onn
the scheduled court date. Crimminal cases are major life changing events for the clients.
