2012: The end… Of Globull “Warming!”

Discovery Channel capitulates:

Happy Earth Day 2012, everyone! One day we may look back on this as the time when the tide began to recede – that being the tide of Anthropogenic Global Warming hysteria.

The canary in this metaphorical mine is the Discovery Channel, long a mass purveyor of AGW porn. In its new seven-part series “Frozen Planet” Discovery confronts distraught polar bears and calving glaciers in glorious High Definition, but nary a mention of the Scientific Consensus that can best be summed up as “Aaaaargghhh! We’re All Going to Die!!”

Because their marketers have discovered that people don’t buy that. Either they don’t agree or they’ve tired of the subject, but Discovery just can’t sell that brand of compost any more.

[…]

Including the scientific theories “would have undermined the strength of an objective documentary, and would then have become utilized by people with political agendas,” Vanessa Berlowitz, the series producer, said in an interview.

“The People just ain’t buyin’ that foolishness.”

Yes, but the blind liberal sheep are swallowing it hook, line and sinker.

    >Climate Audit is spoon feeding you talking points

Just today, Steve McIntyre returns from a long hiatus and repeats a point that he got from me. I guess I’m spoonfeeding ClimateAudit.

My personl opinion is that there is too much bs in politics, hysteria, and grant chasing surrounding this issue.

First, no one has been able to conclusively prove the earth is warming beyond normal weather patterns.
However, we are supposed to take that for granted. Which leads us to the second point-
No one has been able to conclusively prove we as humans are the cause of it, if it is happening at all. There are plenty of other factors, that big ball of fire we call the Sun being the most likely culprit of all. But we are forced to accept that as well.
Lastly, the policies being proposed to “save the planet” range from simple money grabs thru taxation to levels of regulatory control that rival the best totalitarian regimes of the past century.
Yet noone can even show that they will do anything other than possibly slow the problem, if it exists at all.

Apple trees blossom early, spurring some concerns among region orchards

Apple trees at Radke Orchards, near Michigan City, are blossoming a month early because of record-breaking warm weather in March, owner Ruth Radke said.

This story from a couple of weeks ago. Today apple orchards lost half their crops due to early flowering. Lets keep that climate change denial going though.

Orchards fired or are getting ready fire staff because they now expect low yields. We will probably see higher prices as well. This isn’t about government power.

    Yes, it is.

Especially international taxation, in an attempt to strengthen the UN at the expense of U.S. national sovereignty.

Talk of trees that “bud early” are a mainstay in Michigan, troll. Apples, cherries… it don’t matter… they always “bud early”.

It helps to plant the seed for subsidies and other governmental handouts, you know. Gotta get that word out, every Spring.

Problem for your scaremongering, and theirs, is that what you and they are yammering about is a FROST after an “early bud”, i.e. you’re worried about global cooling, not global warming.

And that frost, if it does come, takes out only a portion of the “early buds”, not all of them. The harvest doesn’t depend on every bud and limb. Farmers prune trees to encourage harvest, in fact.

The harvest will be about the same in Michigan, I assure you. It always is. Now, a rain at an inopportune time, or lack thereof, can greatly affect agriculture. But it has been forever so, your anecdotal scaremongering notwithstanding.

There is no such thing as man made global warming.

It’s just another deception by liberal fools who need some type of power grab.

Liberals have completely lost world wide public opinion on this stupidity and the more they persist, the more they just just look like a bunch of liberal fools.

    LMAO!!!

Actually not at least according to test scores. That I can’t make sense out of your comment doesn’t bode well for you though.
