72 Rounds

June 12, 2011

There are just no words.

Keith Koffler at White House Dossier reports:

I know this will be surprising to everyone, but the president has gone golfing.

Having clearly had enough of the solitude of Camp David, where he and the family were making a rare weekend sojourn, the president choppered early this morning directly to Andrews and headed straight to the Air Force base golf course. Not clear whether Michelle in the girls are still at Camp David or back at the White House.

This is the last chance for him to practice before next week’s smackdown with House Speaker Boehner. The foursome will also include Vice President Biden and John Kasich, Ohio’s Republican governor. Kasich, a former senior GOP House member who worked closely with Boehner for many years, was chosen personally by the Speaker to be his second in the duel.

Today makes 11 weekends in a row that Obama has gone golfing. It’s his 14th outing this year and the 72nd of his presidency.

I guess that I relate too much to my experiences in 2 greenfield startups of manufacturing businesses and 5 turn-arounds of declining companies or groups. I know how I reacted to the pressures of businesses in crisis and how I worked for hours and days on end to make those events successful. I know that it took complete dedication, focus and personal sacrifice to make it work…seems that I don’t remember too many golf breaks (actually none) until the job was done.

Given the situation that this country is in, to see any of our elected officials on the golf course, Republican or Democrat,  indicates to me a level of seriousness and dedication that is significantly less than I would give if it was me in their golf shoes.

I’m sorry, I just don’t get it. They all should have their asses packed up and sent back to their home state.

    “There are just no words.”

    How about:
“inept rookie hack & fiscally retarded idiot” ?

Those words probably work for most of us.

Reread You Can Trust The Communists (To Be Communists) by Schwarz and Animal Farm by Orwell.

Obama is staying true to form. He has pulled out the supports from our economy by banning drilling, injecting government ownership into manufacturing and banking, is destroying healthcare and insurance through threats and intimidation, and is more than doubling the actual number of unemployed and critically underemployed…

    He can afford to wait.

    We cannot.

The Democrats in the US Senate have not allowed a budget to pass which leaves Obama’s unelected team in charge of spending your tax dollars.

There’s going to be blood on the streets before the election.

President Bush stopped playing golf when troops went to war, saying he thought it inappropriate for him to be seen on the golf course when the men and women of the United States military were in combat. As was the case with many of his positive actions as president, Mr. Bush received neither mention nor acknowledgement by the media. However if had played 72 rounds during a 28 month stretch while in office (and at war) he most certainly would have been condemned by the same press.

C’mon Barry. Do you really think Castro,Chavez,Kim and Hu would be caught dead playing golf?

I wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near Obama with a golf club.

“As was the case with many of his positive actions as president, Mr. Bush received neither mention nor acknowledgement by the media.” – If one of his positive actions was killing OBL instead of letting him get away, maybe he’d have gotten some acknowledgement by the media. Those that can’t, clear brush. Those that can, do. If Obama keeps capping bad guys (like last weekend), he should play as many rounds as he wants.

Yeah, if Obambi started capping all the bad guys in his cabinet, it’d be great.

He better bring plenty of ammo though.

Hiya, MikeyW (aka Sky King). The Obama Messiah had about as much to do with the killing of Osama as the tides in the Pacific have on the orbit of Pluto. Face it, MikeyW/Sky King, The Obama messiah is a joke–even worse of a joke than your pathetic posts on Polipundit.
