Kick his rino ass Mr. Mourdock!!

The teaparty will have an opportunity to show what kind of strength they have. It will all depend on their numbers if Mourdock is able to upstage Lugar in the primaries. And, the primaries are where such ideological battles are best fought. Whoever wins, wins, period!

This RINO Lugar must be targeted and must be destroyed. We have to make a certain kill here, if we’re to progress.

Looks like the challenger is a good candidate, at first glance. State Treasurer, meaning he’s won statewide, and he won big, too. And state finances are more solid, so he and Daniels must be doing something right.

Daniels worked for and campaigned for Lugar previously, but is leaning towards voting for Mourdock now. And a majority of the county level R establishment is for Mourdock, it appears. The Tea Party has gotten to these people evidently. This guy looks like a winner.

Only crossover Left voters can save Lugar, from what I’m saying. He’s gotta pull a Specter or Morgannasky, or else he’s toast. Anybody know if Indiana has open primary?

Lugar will get killed on immigration and guns, plus TARP and the Indiana pension fund ripoff by Government Motors, earmarks, not to mention all the rest of the Obambi supporting he does.

Lugar is a pure RINO, on all of the social issues and fiscal and economic that are destroying this country. We need to make this kill, right here in the Midwest, as sure sign to all. This is the RINO, and the time is now.

Oh yay!!! We can talk about “political targeting” again!

    But shhhh, don’t tell CNN!

More liberal cowardice brings new definition to the term:

    CUT and RUN

Bye, Lugar. No tears from me, bub.

    * Highest February gas prices since 1990
    * Gas at $4/gal in California, and rising

The voting public may concede that the U.S. has little influence over the crazies in the Middle East. But they WILL NOT concede that we could have started massive domestic drilling (among other energy upstarts) in the last energy crisis, but the dimwit dems fought our need for domestic energy independence every step of the way. This will not be forgotten.

0bama’s ban on domestic drilling looks to be the new 0bamaCare fiasco going into 2012. And, just wait until the summer months come and go with everyone (yet again) being forced to cut back and cancel vacations etc. because they’ve got to save money to buy gas (all the while knowing that 0bama could have helped to break our dependency on foreign oil by exploiting our massive domestic energy resources here at home).

    – Energy Independence – exploding in 0bama’s face
    – Public Union leeches – exploding in 0bama’s face
    – Illegal immigration – exploding in 0bama’s face
    – 0bamaCare – still exploding in 0bama’s face

Liberalism is dying a slow death.

But hey, at least it’s dying!

You guys are really underestimating Lugar’s political strength. He is a former presidential candidate and has been a veteran Senator for as long as I can remember. I would put the chance of him losing at about 10%.

  18. Edward on February 22, 2011 at 9:47 pm

    MikeN
Pre-Tea Party i might have agreed with your probability. This will be a test of tea party strength.

  19. anonymous un-RINO on February 23, 2011 at 4:27 am

If more than half of Indiana’s county R organizations are supporting Mourdock as he claims, then that means the Tea Party has already strongarmed them, because you’re right, RINO Lugar would have all of their support, under normal circumstances.

He’s in trouble then, purely because of the Tea Party.

Indiana has an open primary. So RINO Lugar will go for leftist votes, like Specter and Morgannasky did. But it’s Indiana, so he has to be careful there, as it could backfire. It’s not like welfare queen Alaska or the East coast type swampland of Philadelphia… this is Indiana. The kooks will get butchered.

Plus, it’s a presidential election year, so the lefty primary voters can’t vote for both Lugar AND Obambi… they have to pick one. They could vote strategically, knowing Obambi will likely win the D nomination, and go for Lugar. We’ll know just exactly how big of a scumbag RINO Lugar is, if he comes out encouraging voters to do that.

I bet he goes the full Specter…. he might even jump parties.

We have to work at this, and whack this RINO. Let’s make this a priority kill.

Isn’t that the exact same thing you said about Feingold?
And, how unlikely it was for Johnson to take him down?

It’s a brave new world Mike.

  21. phineas gage on February 23, 2011 at 6:06 am

It’s not going to be easy. There were high hopes of taking down Boxer, Murray, and Reid in the last election.

  22. phineas gage on February 23, 2011 at 6:07 am

I realize those are Dems and not RINOs, but nevertheless…..

Long-time deeply ensconced incumbent Senators do not go easily into that good night, absent a scandal.

  23. edward on February 23, 2011 at 7:11 am

Long-time deeply ensconced incumbent Senators do not go easily into that good night, absent a scandal.

Then it’s settled, we need a bed and a live man or a dead woman…. or its that backwards…… (feed a cold stave a fever…….?)

  24. anonymous un-RINO on February 23, 2011 at 7:35 am

TARP and other Beltway insiderism put down Bennett in Utah, who didn’t have any scandal that I know of. It can put down Lugar as well, among other things.

Too many issues for this guy to not get it in the neck. Guns. Immigration. Earmarks. Spending. Obama loving. People and groups will come out of the woodwork against him.

It’s only the open primary that can save him, I suspect. He needs the Left in order to survive, like those others.

We have to hunt these RINOs mercilessly. They will veer Left when we do, when they’re threatened with extinction, but we have to target and hunt them out there as well. We won’t get them all, but we’ll get some, and send the requisite message to the rest.

  25. edward on February 23, 2011 at 6:17 pm

    ANON un-RINO

Agreed. I am targeting RINOs even harder than Dems. The turncoats need to be excised. The enemy merely shot.
