Republicans Will Gain 64 House Seats!

October 28, 2010

Updating our math with the latest Cook Political projections, Republicans will:

1. Win all of the Lean Republican and Likely Republican seats, thus picking up 25 Democrat seats which are currently in those categories,

2. Win 2/3 of the Democrat toss-up seats, thus picking up 32 more seats, and

3. Win 20% of the Lean Democrat and Likely Democrat seats, picking up another 10 seats.

This gives us a total of 25 + 32 + 10 = 67 seats.

Assuming the Democrats pick up the 3 Republican seats rated Lean or Likely Democrat, that gives the GOP a net pickup of 67 – 3 = 64 seats.

This would be the largest gain for either party since 1948.

My uterus is really starting to hurt!!!

What will I do when congress cuts off funding to Planned Parenthood???

  3. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 4:05 pm

Get pregnant and give birth, probably… ..or at least go abroad for a baby-snuffing…

  4. P. Tillman on October 28, 2010 at 4:20 pm

And Obama will still be President.

Sorry to rain on your parade, suckers.

  5. Chekote's Uterus on October 28, 2010 at 4:34 pm

    P Tillman,

Will you pay for my next abortion????

  6. anonymous un-RINO on October 28, 2010 at 4:49 pm

Hey Tillman, fyi, the first order of business, if desired, can be articles of impeachment.

Don’t kid yourself about it, either. This guy better stay RIGHT on top of his game for the next 2 years. We are at war, and now government is divided, and this simpleton better get right with that fact.

Holder will be dragged in front of Congress and pounded and made to resign. Several other commie cabinet stooges will follow. Be smart if Obambi made it simple and started in removing these dummies now, actually.

  7. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 4:52 pm

And Obama will still be President.

You mean Barack Hussein Odinga Mugabe will still be president…

But hey, anything can happen, especially when you’re a goddamned lying communist.

    You goddamned lying communist.

  8. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 4:55 pm

Let the record show that the lefty troll doesnt give a damn about the unemployed tens of millions, or the shit spray all over the constitution, or the bankrupting of the country, or all the lies and corruption in the gdlc-run regulatory agencies, or the open disregard for the law, all of which are the doing of this God-cursed rat bastard traitor he voted for, who does not even legally hold the office.

All he cares about is his Black Panther POTUS.

Enjoy it while it lasts, Scumocrats.

If Clinton was dealing to get Meeks out of the race, it must mean that
    a. the GOP is a heck of a lot closer to taking the Senate than anyone realizes
    b. they are very very scared of Rubio and his national potential

  10. phineas gage on October 28, 2010 at 5:01 pm

‘And Obama will still be President.’

And you’ll still be a communist stooge.

At least you’ll have plenty of time to reflect upon the running sore of your miserable existence?

  11. Chekote's Uterus on October 28, 2010 at 5:04 pm

I heard Meeks was going to drop out next Wednesday.

Obama’s reaction will be something to watch–I think he’s going to go Nixonian bunker and far far left.

Personal character is always revealed in challenging times–so it will be with the marxist.

What amazes me this cycle is the volume of mail I’m getting from the dems. I live in very liberal Rockland County and it is usually a foregone conclusion that the dems will win the vast majority of races here. In a normal cycle there is little mail from the dems for local offices. This year I’m getting at least 1/2 dozen flyers a day from them, mostly for 2 key races. They are running scared even in this bastion of liberalism. This bodes well for next Tuesday.

We will take at least 75 house and 10 senate seats. There is no way the tsunami from the right will be slowed down. Now if only we can dump a few RINOS from the leadership!

  14. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 5:22 pm

I love hurling invective at the left. They think they are the only ones who can do it.

Can we take Dingy Harry & Boxer down???

    You’re pretty good at it.

I’m enjoying watching the Left thrash about.

‘And they roared their terrible roars
    and gnashed their terrible teeth
    and rolled their terrible eyes’

  18. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 5:41 pm

And the conservatives said “BE STILL” and they tamed them with the trick of staring into their yellow eyes without blinking once.” …….

And then we attacked and defeated them, like this:

  19. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 5:44 pm

Ok I just wanted the slaughtering on the cliffs scene, but you get my point…..

  20. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 5:45 pm\

this is what I was looking for….

  21. another GDLC on October 28, 2010 at 5:46 pm

    Pitiful fools.

We STEAL more votes than you even CAST. November 2nd might as well be Night Of The Living Dead.

Then there’s always the absentee votes to be counted, in any close races (which there won’t be any). Amazing how many spoiled absentee ballots we find, double marked, or at least they are after we get through with them. They always seem to be from the non GDLC’s, too. Imagine that.

The local clerks? Yeah, it’s just as bad as you thought. They exist to facilitate vote theft. Who needs the New Black Panthers? We just need an eraser and we’re good to go.

Military votes? You mean the military wants to vote? Nobody ever told me the military wanted to vote. But yessir, we’ll make sure to get those ballots out in the mail first thing Monday morning. We don’t have to certify until late the next day, so take your time, boys.

So don’t worry, we’ve got all this well in hand.

  22. Jay on October 28, 2010 at 5:49 pm

Let’s hope Poli is lowballing his predictions.

  23. Jay on October 28, 2010 at 5:51 pm

I hope this is one of the seats:

Democratic incumbent Congressman Bob Etheridge’s electoral future appears to be in jeopardy as he trails Republican challenger Renee Ellmers by 5 percentage points with less than one week until the election.

According to the poll of 400 registered voters in North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District, Ellmers leads Etheridge 46 percent to 41 percent. Libertarian candidate Tom Rose garners 6 percent of the vote while 7 percent of voters are undecided.

Among voters who say they are definitely voting this year, Ellmers’ lead grows to 49 percent to 40 percent.

Of course Etheridge gets a pass from the left on his behavior…

  24. rightwingyahoo on October 28, 2010 at 5:54 pm

Hopefully by 11pm next Tuesday, we will already have taken the house, and the senate will be within a seat or 2 of falling, and we can yell:

    “To the cliffs!”….

so I guess we’ll wait and see.

  25. Jay on October 28, 2010 at 6:15 pm

Charlie Cook moves Barney Frank’s seat from “likely Democratic” to “lean Democratic”

It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy!

  26. NY Andy on October 28, 2010 at 6:15 pm

I prefer the cliff death scene from “The Meaning of Life”. Our grizzly moms can chase the last of these socialist bastards over the cliff.

I can’t find the video but, believe me, the ladies in that chase scene look like conservative women to me!

  27. Galloway on October 28, 2010 at 6:30 pm

Video all over the internet of obambi with odinga at some camaign rally, obambi gave him 1 million donation. O may be related the the head hunter. Odinga ran on strong islamic stance for Kenya.
Odinga may be related. Obambi was in the senate at the time and isn’t this suppose to be against some senate rules . Just saying.

So Clinton tries to push out a black candidate after campaigning for him already…what is it with these racist dems that use & then discard black candidates as needed?

  29. Brucefdb on October 28, 2010 at 7:16 pm

Liberals put the blacks on the plantation with the Great Society legislation. Don’t mistake that it is where they want to put all of us.

  30. Led 0bama Zeppelin on October 28, 2010 at 7:44 pm

Hilarious things happen when dems get desperate…they eat each other:

    From the LA Times:

“Politico need not reveal its source to reveal its source. Given the names, times and details provided, it clearly was the Clinton-Obama camp playing hardball the Chicago Way.

Yes, sure, Meek was a loyal, useful African American trooper all over the country in Hillary Clinton’s unsuccessful fight against Obama for the Democrats’ presidential nomination in 2007-08.

But — nothing personal just business — if Meek won’t step aside voluntarily, get rid of him involuntarily. Leak word to the hungry press and hope enough of their readers give up on Meek and jump to Crist. Meek’s doomed either way.”

Wonder if the black community will finally get off the demo plantation..?

  31. Bring Back the Hohenzollerns! on October 28, 2010 at 8:07 pm

    P. Tillman–Obama will be President, true, but he will be effectively emasculated and will be easy pickings in 2012–dogbreath.

0bama knows how to get ‘er done…

    (h/t Instapundit)

“CHANGE: FTC Drops Investigation of Google Less Than a Week After Company Exec Hosts Obama Fundraiser.”

and why is it, again, that the country doesn’t trust him or his Chicago ways of doing business?

  33. Adolf Tillman on October 28, 2010 at 9:49 pm

Sorry to rain on your parade, suckers. Soon you will feel the wrath of a fully mobilized Democratic Party. Armed with a conviction, unknown to you GOP scum, we will take to the polls on Nov 2, in numbers unimaginable and unforeseen to the boot-licking conservative media. You’re a silly band of shopkeepers and have no idea what’s in store for you!

  34. Gerry Owen on October 28, 2010 at 10:39 pm

    62 House. 8 Senate.
Conservative estimate, because that is how I roll.
Guaranteed pick- Nov 3rd, Tillman the troll will still be scum.

    This is looking good,

Republicans are headed for comfortable wins in Wisconsin’s races for both Senator and Governor. Ron Johnson leads Russ Feingold 53-44 in the US Senate race and Scott Walker leads by an identical margin against Tom Barrett.

    Bye bye Russ!

  36. Edward on October 29, 2010 at 5:03 am

as a Wisconsin boy I have been cheering and supporting the Wisconsin races even more than the ones in Iowa that I can actually vote in. Walker is the best hope for Wisconsin to stop heading down the path of the “Chicago model” of politics that Jimmy “the crook” Doyle tried to foster on the state.
