Yeah they were. I still listen to Institutionalized every now and then. Actually, now that I think about it, that song fits the Dems perfectly.

I used to listen to that song on a cassette of the Repo Man soundtrack, when I was just a pup in Seattle, 1985 or so. Saw the movie at the Seattle Film Festival in 1984.
