these “retirees” are probably thinking they should cash in their chips from their financially rewarding political careers (due to bribes and kickbacks), change their name and/or go into hiding in private life before the masses fully realize how they sold them and the USA down the river and come after them “lynch-mob” style!

The Quote of the Day® is ambiguous and open to different interpretations.

I wish Oak Leaf would retire from Polipundit.com

His far left ideoligical rants are sickening. Oak Leaf is an extreme liberal and his disgusting posts do not belong on a blog that claims to have a “conservative bent”.

Poli- Why punnish your readers by forcing Oak Leaf’s liberalism down our throats day after day? Do you really hate us that much? If so, why?

-You are absolutely right. You can interpret every statement in that article to somehow reflect and support your views, to reassure yourself that the pollsters, republicans, conservatives, and independents are wrong and a majority of Americans do in fact agree with your crazy liberal leanings, and that somehow the “high note” of that article is health care.

However, the ambiguity will be cleared up in November 2010, when you are “shocked” and “disgusted” at the “rednecks” who went to the polls and voted for individual freedom, smaller government and fiscal responsibility.

For the majority of the country that doesnt salivate at what Hollywood, Washington liberals or the president has to say, we will know that the election results will reflect a majority of Americans who are “disgusted” with the far-left, liberal, socialist agenda of the new Democratic party.

Why is it the “red states” have all of the “blue dots?”

I’m sure Mikey or Pluto can enlighten us…

    - “…who went to the polls and voted for individual freedom, smaller government and fiscal responsibility.” – Let’s see if that’s what the republicans gave us the last time they were in charge. Individual Freedom – hmmm, Patriot Act, now the government can throw anybody it wants in jail for as long as it wants, as long as it calls you an “enemy combatant”, and it can monitor your phone calls without a warrant. Sweet freedom. Smaller government – they brought us the Dept of Homeland Security – definately not smaller government. Fiscal Responsiblity – tax cuts in the middle of two wars, Medicare Part D, two poorly planned and executed wars paid for with borrowed money, and they brought us inches from the Great Depression II. And what are they promising to do that’s different from the last time they ran the show? Nothing.

    You guys are crazy.

    - “Why is it the “red states” have all of the “blue dots?”” – Because all the people live in blue states.
