Republicans are getting closer to taking back the Senate in 2010. In each of the following 9 states where a Democrat is up for re-election, the Republican challenger is leading or tied with the Democrat incumbent/candidate.

Poli – you’re from Washington… who could take on Patty Murray? The state Democrat party is in shambles. Murray is and always has been the dimmest bulb in the senate. The latest SUSA poll has her at 48/41 job rating – her lowest ever. She’s vulnerable.

This November, the voters of my state voted by a 55-45 margin for higher property taxes. I feel like I’m the only conservative left in Washington.
