2010 ND Senate Race

By PoliPundit ~ November 20th, 2009 @ 2:49 pm

Could we finally get rid of Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND)? Republican Governor John Hoeven has been a bit of a tease in the past, never actually getting ito a Senate race. But, with a national anti-Democrat wave developing, this is the year he’ll probably run for Dorgan’s seat.

There is a path to take back the senate. Don’t listen to Larry Sabato…

Conservatives pick off McCain in the primary and the GOP holds Arizona in the general…

To stay at 40, Republicans keep:
Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Marco Rubio wins Florida.

    Likely Republican pick ups (+7):
Arkansas, Illinois, Delaware, Connecticut, New York, Nevada and Colorado

    Potential Republican picks ups (+3):
Hoeven in North Dakota, Bayh goes down in Indiana, Tommy Thompson takes on Feingold in Wisconsin

    Wild Cards (+3)
Fiorina takes down Boxer 49/48, Washington State Democrats take down Patty Murray and Gordon Smith takes down Wyden in Oregon.

Wisconsin can get rid of Russ Feingold and Tommy Thompson won’t be the one to do it. Tommy is to liberal/progressive.

Wisconsinites are upset with Feingold’s progressive stance and his false “maverick” bent on voting (voting against Dems when it is obvious that his vote won’t make a difference). Dave Westlake (http://www.davewestlake.org) is a true conservative and his grass roots movement will take back Wisconsin and redefine the Republican stance here.
