Whither Afghanistan?

I happened to catch Fareed Zakaria’s GPS for the first time today, and have now gotten a season pass. It’s a very thoughtful and no-spin program.
The best part of today’s show was the second half, where former Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf discusses Afghanistan. Here’s the video. Musharraf is on at 16:23.

Knowing this site, knowing your views and being a regular watcher of Fareed Zakaria, I suspect your season pass to this program won’t last long.

I don’t mind it. But I see how it could get real old real quick.
Lesser of 1000 evils for CNN and pretty informative.

Zakaria is pretty much useless, and here above you have Comrade Romanov’s refreshingly candid observation of the reasons why.
Everything this chump Zakaria does is shaped by political partisanship, and spun to that end. Heck, I love it when politicians get attacked, on foreign policy or anything else, because they all deserve it. But partisans are easy to spot out, even when they spin themselves as disinterested observers, as this transparent and facile charlatan does.
Watching this schmuck run away from every one of his ignorant and wrongheaded predictions over the years, when they inevitably turn out WAY wrong, you just gotta shake your head. He just pretends they never happened.
Just comment on the data, and he’d be fine. But no, he’s gotta start with his predictions. What a dope.
He’s a quota baby, there because of the color of his skin and the political correctness of his views and surname. Pure and simple. Enjoy.

Absolute shame we do not have more “dopes” (your term) like Fareed Zakaria – educated, well-written, thoughtful, and balanced. Unlike like your comments.
