The Obama Agenda

By PoliPundit ~ November 3rd, 2009 @ 9:18 pm

If Obama wants to keep his promises, he’ll have to convince recalcitrant, terrified Congressional Democrats to pass:

1. Unpopular Obamacare
2. Even more unpopular Cap-and-Tax
3. Devastatingly unpopular amnesty for illegal aliens

Or he could just sit on his hands for a year…

The more of these bad bills become law, the more Democrats will get crushed in 2010. Karmic justice!

As a conservative Republican, I’m conflicted. The conservative in me wants to see all these bills fail, so that they don’t permanently hurt the country. The Republican in me wants the Democrats to at least give it the old college try, so that they can more easily be crushed in 2010.

Cap and tax, and immigration madness, are both as dead as disco. Any swing stater seeking mainstream support during this economic downturn better plan on staying clear of both, or risk their own political death.

They’ll do some type of health care “reform”, but it’s going to be real hard to get socialized medicine through now, because the mainstream has evidently got their eye on deficit spending.

Quarterback Reid will now enter the free fire zone of reelection, as will some of his compatriots, and they’ll do so while viewing the stuffed and mounted carcass of Emperor Corzine… and not even his own $40M plus ACORN could save him from his date with the taxidermist.

But Obambi is an unrepentant socialist, so he’ll push, as will Pelosi. That will weaken him and the Left even further, because they’re both too stupid to govern in ANY environment, let alone a hostile one. They’re likely firing up the gaffe machine even as we speak.

Steady pressure, and they’ll crack like walnuts, and look impotent to boot. All they’ll have to run on is bailouts and debt, and high unemployment.

Those are the issues somebody has to work into an electoral strategeryization. I’m not holding my breath, given the current Beltway crowd.

    Woah.

    Redstate Erick Erickson Tweet

(I think he’s joking of course but maybe not)

  3. Let's Not Mention That

Perhaps Hoffman lost because he’s not Conservative enough.

  4. Let's Not Mention That

    Wrap up:

The Club for Growth spent $1,022,040 in support of Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman.

The National Republican Congressional Committee spent $897,404 on its candidate, Dede Scozzafava.

~numbers according to the Club fro Growth

Never mind, we must continue to purge, cleanse the GOP of RHINOs such as Scozzafava, even at the expense of running unelectables such as Hoffman. Ignore the suggestions that Sarah Palin’s endorsement is a drink of hemlock.

It means that the dems will hurry and rush their agenda through before the 2010 elections

Whew! Thanks be to the Great Obama for his high profile appearances in New Jersey and Virginia….we might have lost without him!

    Blessed be The One…

The Great Uniter’s appearance in New Jersey and Virginia was like unto a refreshing drink of Kool Aid….with Jim Jones flavoring

    Ah, Blessed be the One!

Scuzzywildebeast is a lefty kook. What’s the difference between that cow and the guy running on the Left? Nothing that I can see.

The Left won. They were going to win anyways, even if the cow took it. The insider RINOs and union bosses who nominated her made sure they’d win either way the race went. Then, when Hoffman arose, the Left changed strategy, and made their RINO cow drop out and endorse the lefty, so as not to split the lefty vote.

I didn’t have a look at this Hoffman guy until the other day, and he really is a nothing on camera, has zero rhetorical skills, and is completely clueless in working a crowd. He obviously isn’t a politician. Plus, he only showed up on the scene about 30 days ago, so it’s really a surprise that people voted well over 40% for him… an unknown.

The Left got what they wanted, but they were getting that either way. Hoffman beheaded a contemptible RINO, which we conservatives are grateful for.

We will come for you, RINOs. Fear us.

To commemorate this special day, let’s commission a group of New Jersey school aged young people to sing the praises of the Great Uniter, our Provider, he da man, our Obamma… We could put in on You Tube!

    Ah, blessed be the One!

    Indeed…. :)

No matter, the hippo won in N. J.

    Hoffman beheaded a contemptible RINO

Correct, it certainly wasn’t a nose that was cut off to spite one’s face. Let’s continue with this strategy.

I can already sense the ocean levels returning to normal…especially along the coasts of New Jersey and Virginia…

Can you sense it too, my friend….

    Can you?

  13. Obamaloid

“People of the World [in New Jersey, in Virginia] this is our moment!”

“We are the change we’ve been waiting for! I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment…”

Let me guess, you’re not an ice cream truck driver or political analyst.

    Anonymity is your friend.

I agree. The RINO cow had a kooky leftist face… and her endorsement of the lefty demonstrated that clearly. No loss, unless you’re a RINO and think little R’s are the only thing that matters.
