Suppressing Bad News?

I made the mistake of watching Meet the Press on NBC this morning. David Gregory, the host, droned on and on about the economy, Afghanistan, and Pat Tillman. In fact, the Pat Tillman thing was shoe-horned in as a way to discredit General Stanley McChrystal for giving Tillman a posthumous silver star.
For the entire hour, there wasn’t a single mention of Tuesday’s elections! Perhaps NBC believes that it can make the elections go away by covering its ears…
