A million people? That’s not even as many as live in Manhattan. Big freakin’ deal.

  2. Frank Smith on September 12, 2009 at 3:52 pm

It actually is a big deal! And it will be clear why in Nov 2010.

  3. jfoster on September 12, 2009 at 4:10 pm

I’m sure it’s more than that when you add up all of the rallies nation wide. The inportant thing is that these people and their friends , work and have incomes. They will vote and spend. 2010 could shape up as a blow out. It’s obvious that what matters here is the congress the peoples house . O can travel and grovel who cares as long as he and his freak show are kept in check .

McRock-You are misunderestimating the rage at taxes, deficit and govt takeover of everything.

The Dems do not realize the anger out here in middle America. You won’t realize it until it comes up and bites you in the a$$.

Republicans did the same during the Bush years and paid the price. Dems did not learn the lesson.

  5. McRock on September 12, 2009 at 5:00 pm

No, I don’t misunderstand the rage at all. I simply don’t see any need to pay too much attention to a few fringe lunatics who can scream really really loudly.

  6. McRock on September 12, 2009 at 5:07 pm

What I think YOU might be misunderstanding, MI, is the rage against Teabaggers and liara and those who will do anything to bring down Obama, including things that clearly harm America’s interests at home and abroad.

Personally, I am beginning to hate a lot of my fellow Americans.

  7. MI Conservative on September 12, 2009 at 5:13 pm

McRock-Tell me what the teabaggers believe in that “clearly harm America’s interests at home and abroad”?

  8. MI Conservative on September 12, 2009 at 5:18 pm

In fact I would say the people that support Obama’s socialist agenda are (in your words j—-ust add the word not) “a small fraction of the loonies who’ve been brainwashed to think that Obama is (NOT) an evil Nigra whose coming to eat their children in bed and roast granny for dinner.”

Now does my statement makes sense? If not, yours does not either.

  9. MI Conservative on September 12, 2009 at 5:23 pm

McRock-I have not one person who voted for McCain say they are sorry for their vote. I can name 6 friends who voted for Obama who are clearly upset and will not vote for him again.

Do you realize that if only 584,000 votes changed in 8 states in 2008 McCain would have won with 284 electoral votes? Obama did not win an overwhelming victory that he thought he had.

Middle America did not go overwhelmingly for him. The Northeast and west may have but you are seeing some real change in middle America away from his liberal policies. It was a vote against Bush not for Obama.

  10. McRock on September 12, 2009 at 8:24 pm

“McRock-Tell me what the teabaggers believe in that “clearly harm America’s interests at home and abroad”?”

To start, how about supporting Corporate Fascism, working to tear down important and popular social programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, starting purposeless wars on the basis of lies that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people and has stretched our military and National Guard thin, ignoring the law and the constitution, caring more about a bunch of lifeless cells inside a womans body than a living person, using hatred and fear for political gain, and generally being ignorant loudmouth a–holes who are trying as hard as they can to turn this country into an even bigger shithole than it’s already become under Republican rule because they like living in their own feces.

    You want more?

  11. McRock on September 12, 2009 at 8:27 pm

Honestly I’m surprised that no one recognized the opportunity to cut out some of the cancer that a concentrated collection of ignorant rightwing domestic terrorists at the rally in DC today provided….

If we didn’t have a “McRock”, we would have to invent someone like him. He is a parody unsurpassed by his rendition of the spit slobbering pavlovian leftist. Sad really.

No, I don’t. You’ve pretty well told people what you are really like. Smell what your shoveling. Your comments are worse than any conservative I’ve ever read on here. Talking about a loudmouth, Jeeeesh.

Jeez, McRock, you really are an “ignorant, loudmouthed a-hole.

Where to start with a piece of work like you…

Well, for starters, do you think 9/11 was caused by Bush? If so, why are there no witnesses? If nearly every little secret program was leaked to the press during those eight years, why has this “secret” been kept when it clearly had to be orchestrated by a group of at least 50? That’s a lot of people to keep quiet, eh?
You know what, if Iraq was about oil, GOOD! Oil is today’s gold, and we need it for our industry. No oil, no industry, and now we’re a third world country. But, I guess you would easily like that.

Do you believe social security is going broke? Provide proof that it isn’t. It needs to be fixed, and savings accounts will work, provided they are maintained properly. Social security has been robbed by every congress for other social programs, our population is getting older, younger people don’t want to work, and the funds are drying up. Do you have a fix, or will you shut up?

Lifeless cells? You mean eggs? What happens when a sperm fertilizing an egg? Wow! Life is born!! Lifeless? Hardly. Maybe you should have been aborted. It would have saved polipundit a few kilobytes of hard drive space.

Laws of the constitution? Like the white house collaborating with the NEA, flagrantly violating the law? If you mean waterboard, Bush acted within limits set by laws regarding torture. Look them up. If you mean intercepting calls made to the middle east, wasn’t it you morons that stated Bush wasn’t using tools available to him and couldn’t connect the dots?

Using hatred and fear…Hmmm… seems I remember a speech last week made by a president using the same tactics. Calling people liars, threatening to “call out” those who disagreed with him, and saying we have to act now or else. Hmmm…..hatred and fear….Hmmm….

But that’s fine. Suffer in your own deficit of feces, as it builds upon this nation, lowering our dollar value. I hope you don’t have kids, or even better, I hope your kids don’t have kids. I would hate to seem them having to repay debts of tomorrow incurred by your messiah of today, with you idly standing by, not doing anything to stop it.

At least I know in my heart that I can say to my grandchildren that I tried to stop our current train wreck heading for our economy.

So MrCock is now advocating mass murder of his fellow Americans? WOW! Terrorosts INDEED!

No wonder lefties love tyrants and dictators.

I hope the proper authorities pay the unhinged MrCock a visit before he goes further off the deep end and takes matters into his own hands.

  17. (((BCL))) on September 13, 2009 at 1:07 pm

Just three minutes before MrCock’s fantasizing over the lost opportunity to mass murder a peaceful assembly of his fellow Americans he was ranting about Rs supposedly killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people, etc. Pitiful hypocrite

  18. McRock on September 13, 2009 at 6:21 pm

Wow, “SGT BAZZ”, your post is a nearly text-book example of the feverish fantasies and perverted prejudices that people like you hold in your minds about perceived enemies. You really need to ask yourself whose in control of your mind.

“do you think 9/11 was caused by Bush? ”

    No I don’t idiot.

Do I think Bush used 9/11 for political gain? Yes, shamefully.

“You know what, if Iraq was about oil, GOOD!”

Except that’s not what Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld said it was about, so they lied. That’s treason.

“Do you believe social security is going broke?”

Yes, so is pretty much every other government program including the Defense Department, but somehow Wingnuts who want to kill the program keep harping on this canard. In addition, it’s easy to fix the projected deficit, for example simply raising the retirement age a few years. The money spent on Iraq could have taken care of it for quite some time also.

“Lifeless cells? You mean eggs? What happens when a sperm fertilizing an egg? Wow! Life is born!! Lifeless? Hardly. Maybe you should have been aborted. ”

By my definition they are lifeless. If you care to give us yours, genius (can’t wait for that btw) feel free. And I’m also a bit confused about what your point is here? Is abortion bad? Except for people you don’t like? Oh wait, another TEXTBOOK example of the duplicitous rightwing mind! Thanks for that.

“At least I know in my heart that I can say to my grandchildren that I tried to stop our current train wreck heading for our economy.”

If you are only raising your angry ignorant voice now but not during the past 8 years than you are not only a hypocrite but a dishonorable lying fool, and you’re grandchildren will surely recognize that because history will not be kind at all to your man Bush or those like you who elected him and helped to bring our country to the edge of disaster because they can’t seem to understand that in a Democracy sometimes your side LOSES and when that happens you stop acting like destructive sore loser babies and behave in a civil and rational manner to your FELLOW AMERICANS who you may not agree with but have the RIGHT just like your side to run the government on the basis of THEIR POLICIES, NOT YOURS.

    Get it?

  19. McRock on September 13, 2009 at 6:23 pm

Because if you don’t I can show you the door, A hole.

  20. Warner on September 14, 2009 at 1:43 pm

I interpret McRock’s comments to mean an opportunity to re-educate or enlighten a group of selfish angry fools who helpfully decided to congregate in DC this past weekend and thereby allow a simple positive diagnosis of the illness that is facing America.

Nowhere are the words “murder” or “killing” used except in the replies…ah, Projection at it’s finest.
