Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA), one of the negotiators on a “bi-partisan” healthcare “reform” bill:

“So, you don’t really know where the president’s standing, and that’s part of our problem.”

    Interesting article you linked to.

Kennedy doesn’t want to play by the rules again. Kennedys’ set their own rules and damn the rest of you for not bowing to them.

So, you don’t really know where the president’s standing, and that’s part of our problem.

Grassley’s problem is that he fosters tin foil hat notions of Death Panels, and so loses credibility to be in the loop.

In case you missed it, the administration had the “tin foil death panel” requirements removed from the Seate bill. Remember?

Prove it that there were Death Panel requirements. Otherwise you are just regurgitating right wing pablum fear mongering.

Rand Paul money bomb is up to over 500K.

    That’s pretty good I think.

    Back to sleep, bub.

    Yeah,
I guess old Lefty-Lib Nat Hentoff is one those right-wing crazies:

Iowa is probably the oldest state in the nation. Anybody that votes for Obamacare there will be done.

MTP audience numbers confirm the obvious.

Rachael Maddow is at least vaguely interesting (compared to most of the people they put on their show.)

Ken, it is easy to find links that will regurgitate the “Death Panel” meme. Easy. I was asking you to prove that there were “Death Panel” stipulations in the bill, and that they were removed. Not Death Panel “claims”, or biased sources such as lifenews.com

  11. Ken

    Pluto:

    “biased sources such as lifenews.com”

I don’t believe the LA Times is biased to the right. You’re embarassing yourself.

  12. Pluto

    From the LA Times article:

The Palin claim about “death panels” was so widely discredited…

You are embarrassing yourself. The Death Panel was a lie. I asked you to support the lie, but you can’t. All you can do is repeat the Death Panel meme. Why? Because bearing false witness is OK, if the desired ends are achieved.

  13. Ken

    Pluto:

OK. You’re right. No “death panel” language was ever removed from the Senate health care bill. It was all just a mass hallucination.

Now, time for your nap, buster.

  14. Pluto

    Definition of Whack-a-mole:

Ken cannot support the Death Panel lie, but he will continue to bear false witness in repeating the distortion and fear mongering, because to his mind the desired ends justify the means.
