And I Voted For Him

Mea Culpa, mea culpa….

Sen. Martinez to support Sotomayor for Supreme Court;

”Judge Sotomayor is knowledgeable of the law, would be a fair and impartial judge, and seems to have a good understanding of the limited role the judiciary plays in our democracy,” he said.

And he called Sotomayor, a child of the Bronx whose parents were born in Puerto Rico, “testimony to the fact that the American dream continues to be attainable. As an Hispanic American, I take great pride in Judge Sotomayor’s historic achievement.”

And what does Mel’s pal Charlie think?

One of the two Republicans seeking his seat, former House Speaker Marco Rubio, has said he would have opposed Sotomayor. Gov. Charlie Crist has said he’s too busy running the state to take a stand on the issue.

For me, come 2010 it’s Rubio or bust!!

    Link is my take on Crist…When he Stood up for the Stimulus, he lost me for sure….

    I’ve already donated to Rubio….

    Martinez has became quite the RINO since 2004.

    Subprime loans resurfacing?

    Obama is failing on all three of the major issues of his time

    1) ending the war of terror
    2) war crimes trials and other investigations of the Bush regime
    3) gay rights

    He’s ignoring the major issues, and focusing on enlarging the government. I wonder if the left with stay with this guy if he “stays the course” in Iraq and Afghanistan for his entire first term?

    Hopefully we get a more balanced house of representatives in 2010, and maybe the polling and sentiment is going in that direction.
