Obama’s speech was a turning point in his presidency. You cannot morally equate a value system that would flog a girl for trying to learn and kill political dissidents (and homosexuals, another value of the left) with America. Once this speech is debated, and it will be, the criticism that Obama makes America look weak will begin to sink in.
Obama’s invoking of his personal ties to Muslims is shameless considering anyone who uttered his middle name during the campaign was accused of a hate crime. He crossed the line yesterday and he is going to pay a BIG political price for it.

You made some sound points, NYC Steve!
I might add that the fact-checker went wild over Obama’s speech as well — lots of errors and omissions, being that he prefaced himself such an “historian.”
Just his statistic of 7 million Muslims living in the US, was a pure fabrication, as it is more like 2 million.
The unfortunate thing is that such fact checking is done by those outside of his fawning circle. In other words the MSM is impotent in holding this president accountable for anything, but reporting on the sprouting of a “thin mustache!”
It’s simply crazy-making times!
