I’m starting to think Pelosi was telling the truth. I wouldn’t put it past the CIA to try to trick the congress critters. It’s quite possible that Pelosi is a more trustworthy information.
Another Democrat questions CIA briefing.
I think the CIA is the place where a lot of these interest groups fester so they might be #1 government agency in need of defunding right now.

No one likes Pelosi and no one likes the CIA. One of them is lying and playing tricks. Which one? I am leaning heavily towards the CIA misleading her since we know the CIA does stuff like that, but who knows.

Using the word “Mexican” is not racist. Mexican is not even a race. Even if it was a race, which it is not, there is nothing racist about using the word “Mexican”. It is not at all a demeaning word to normal people.

“The letter makes Obey the fourth Democrat to allege that the CIA’s record of which members of Congress were briefed on the Bush administration’s enhanced interrogation techniques contained factual errors. Former Sen. Bob Graham, in an interview with the Huffington Post, noted that the agency’s records initially had him being briefed four times in 2002 about the interrogation techniques. Upon contacting officials with the CIA, it was determined that he had only attended one such briefing. Similarly, Sen. Jay Rockefeller has said that the records kept by the agency and made public on May 7 contained errors in regards to his briefings.”
I bet the CIA has been lying.

Pelosi attacks are failing? Is that why her numbers plummeted the last week?
A CNN poll Monday found 48 percent of those polled disapprove of the way Pelosi is handling her job, versus 39 percent who approve. The poll broke down along party lines, and puts Pelosi’s approval ratings close to former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s at a similar point in his speakership.

Anonymous, Did you read the remark and his follow-ups in that thread? He called MFG a Mexican Lover and it was meant to be derogatory in the context it was used. Normal people comprehend that. If you can’t see that then you’re beyond help and not at all normal.
