Changing Hearts About Abortion

By Oak Leaf ~ May 15th, 2009 @ 5:56 am

President George W. Bush taught myself a lesson concerning abortion. I do not have a link, but the quote is seared in my memory;

You have to change hearts.

President George W. Bush

By Grace of God, more hearts have changed;

PRINCETON, NJ — A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves “pro-life” on the issue of abortion and 42% “pro-choice.” This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

    Personally, I think this is a States’ Rights issue- The Fed shouldn’t be involved.

    That pollo makes it even sadder that Obama was able to get elected. Lots of phioney Catholics voted for him.

    Don’t read too much into this poll. Polls showed gun control was popular all through the 1990s at the same time Democrats were getting kicked out of office because of it. You have to look at people who care about the issue enough to base their votes on it.

    Instead of saying “taught me,” you said “taught myself.” Myself?

    You’re a lawyer, aren’t you?

    Re: Abortion should be a state’s rights issue. No state should allow give women the right to end their lives of their unborn children.
    Re: Polls. Obama wants to avoid a big controversy with his Supreme Court nominee. Could that be because of this poll, the flack over previous nominees, etc?
    By the way, who is responsible for the “Changing Hearts About Abortion?” I got to this website through a google alert — I have no idea who wrote this.
