More on the possibility that senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) will run for that state’s governorship, rather than re-election in 2004. Democrats will have a tough time keeping that Senate seat without him.
“I can tell you this — there is a better than 50-50 chance that Evan Bayh will run for governor,” says Ed Treacy, who leads the party in Marion County.
