Janet Hook says in the LA Times that this year is going to see some bitter partisan fights in Congress.
One factor she doesn’t touch on is the sheer number of Democratic presidential candidates. It’ll be difficult for these candidates to distinguish themselves from each other. I expect they’ll try to do it by criticizing Bush in the shrillest terms possible.
