Is it possible to make a movie more unpopular than Gigli? Yes.
The only people more unpopular than Ben Affleck and J. Lo are… the French. To make an even bigger flop than Gigli, all you do is release a movie about American women in Paris called Le Divorce. It doesn’t matter whether the movie’s any good; it’ll sink like a stone. Frog-loving critics have been slightly kinder to Le Divorce than Gigli; but that doesn’t seem to have helped the movie with red-blooded American audiences.
