Troll Comments
When I first added comments to this site, I made my comment policy clear:
I reserve the right to delete comments on a whim. However, my libertarian instincts will probably let you get away with anything other than threatening people or posting adult content.
So, on a whim, I’ve deleted some mindless-spam-propaganda Clark-troll comments.
If you have something intelligent and articulate to contribute, I’ll probably let it stand. However, if you comment after every post, “You REPUBS are so gonna looooose! CLARK is the mannn!” I’ll probably delete your comments. They’re inarticulate, repulsive, repetitive and, worse, boring. On the other hand, “Go, Bush, Go!” comments are always welcome, no matter how inarticulate, repetitive and boring.
And, before anyone brings out the usual liberal “It’s censorship! They’re questioning our patriotism!” lines, I’d like to remind them that the Old York Times doesn’t publish every letter it gets. There’s blatant discrimination against conservative columnists and letter-writers in the lying liberal media. When The Times publishes at least one of my letters to the editor, hires Ann Coulter to counterbalance Maureen Dowd and endorses a Republican for president, I’ll publish all your comments. Until then, get your own blog and mouth off all you want.
