Kerry’s latest ads
How long before the president or Karl Rove is accused of injecting “the culture war” into the campaign as soon as the president even whispers something about “gay marriage” or “heaven forbid’ abortion in a speech?
Well wouldn’t you know it John Forbes Kerry is running ads threatening that Roe is one vote away from being overturned. Of course the commercial is only running in the deepest blue of blue states including Washington, California, and New York. With one exception Wisconsin, clearly a battleground state. If Kerry ran these ads in the Pittsburgh market, West Virginia, or Ohio his negatives would jump like nothing else, the Bush surrogates in these areas should mention these Kerry efforts every chance they get, I know quite a few Kerry leaning voters these ads would disgust.
Why is it we hear nothing of when the Democrats use cultural issues to their advantage but whenever Republicans even mention them it is consider a threat to democracy?
