Veteran “Outpouring” For Kerry?

New England Republican has a great post about a Mike Barnicle radio interview with Max Cleland. It seems they were having a discussion about the outpouring of support Kerry was getting from veterans. N.E. Republican then recites all the evidence to the contrary including polls showing vets favor Bush 54% – 40% over Kerry, according to the latest CBS poll. Follow the link and read the whole thing.
UPDATE: This reminds me of the reporting on McCain during the 2000 primary. Bush got more vet votes than McCain, but you wouldn’t have known it from the media coverage.
