What Are Your Favorite “Blog Moments” Of 2004?

By Lorie Byrd ~ December 27th, 2004 @ 1:06 am

What was the best “blog moment” of 2004? Most would put the work of Power Line, Little Green Footballs and others on the Rathergate story at the top of their list, but what are some of the other great moments that either changed the course of history or just gave you great enjoyment?

I will be posting my favorites, along with some of the best reader contributions, later this week. If you can link to a specific post, that would be great, but not necessary for your submission to be considered for inclusion in my “best of” post. I would also like to feature the favorites of fellow bloggers. Please make your contributions in the comments section. If you have a blog, please note that by mentioning it in your submission.

Update: Be sure to check out Ed Driscoll’s excellent “top ten events that ricocheted through the Blogosphere in 2004,” presented in order of importance, at Tech Central Station. (My only complaint about Ed’s piece is in item #2 where he links to Glenn Reynolds and quotes a “reader.”Here’s the link to that reader’s original post.
