Franken Clip

Johnny Dollar’s Place has posted the tearful Al Franken clip I wrote about here last night. If you haven’t seen it yet, you really should take a look.

For the record, I am not questioning that Al Franken loves his country. What I question is his judgment and how he chooses to express that love when he constantly criticizes every part of the troops’ mission and does not give credit for the good work being done in Iraq. To say to our boys and girls that they are doing a great job at a USO show when you go to visit them, but then not acknowledging any of the good things happening in Iraq just doesn’t jibe, and it isn’t fair to those there accomplishing so much. And that makes me want to cry.
