Minimum Rage

The Senate today beat back two separate proposals to raise the federal minimum wage.
First to go down in flames was a pure-liberal wage hike sponsored by Whiskey Ted.
Then a larger, bi-partisan group shot down a trial balloon (which included pro-business measures) floated by Rick Santorum.
Bottom line:
No hike in the national minimum wage.
Even Newt’s Congress got all wobbly, on this issue, and agreed to hike up the wage rate.
I guess the times might be a changin’, eh?
