Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick

One of the more conservative of Dubya’s judicial nominees, William Myers — whose nomination was filibustered, last Congress, by, um, you know, the lobbyist’s husband, I forget his name — once again has cleared the Judiciary Committee, and is headed for the full Senate.

Hmm.

I can’t help but wonder if this will set the stage for the Senate to go nuclear.

It’s time to put down the medical handbook, chief, and to bring out the sledgehammer.
