Cognitive Dissonance

Speaking of the far left’s boogeyman — Tom DeLay — and specifically in connection with reporting that his most recent challenger will not run against him, next year, the Associated Depressed made reference to the latter’s “strong showing,” in last year’s contest.
DeLay just won re-election by 14 percentage points, 55-41-2-2. And if 41 percent really is a “strong showing,” then I guess Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale gave identical “strong showings,” in 1980 and 1984, respectively, up against Ronald Reagan. After all, they both received around 41 percent too.
Um, I think the liberal media is playing in its land of make-believe once again. Just a hunch.
