Putting a Fellow Trust-Fund Liberal to Shame
Democrat Senator and soon-to-be Democratic Gov. candidate, Jon Corzine, has piles and piles of green money to his name.
But according to that article, and quite unlike his limosuine-liberal colleague, John Kerry Heinz, Sen. Corzine has the moral center to take his six-figure, taxpayer-funded salary and donate it to charity. And a quick perusal of last session’s roll calls indicates that Corzine actually worked and then voted nearly every day the Senate was in session.
How many votes did Kerry Heinz miss last year? 90 percent? 95 percent??
And how much of his salary did he return to the Treasury or give away to charity? Zero percent? Zero.point.zero percent???
Sheesh.
You know, honestly, when someone like Corzine shames you, you’ve got to be down at snake level, having to stand up to reach the sewer, right?
